The Wash Dog will be closed on July 4th and July 5th for the 2024 Independence Day holiday. We have found that giving anxious pups an extra day to recover from neighborhood fireworks can be helpful. We will re-open at 9am on Saturday, July 6th. Happy 4th of July!!

For those of you concerned about the canine virus, rest assured that we have the physical space and protocols in place to keep dogs from interacting with one another at The Wash Dog. We are also disinfecting continuously. The well-being and health of your pups is our number one priority.

Due to the ice storm in the region covering everything with sheets of ice, The Wash Dog will be closed today, Friday, December 23rd. We will be open 9am - 2pm on Saturday, Christmas Eve. Stay safe everyone.

The Wash Dog will close walk-in services at 2pm on 12/24, Christmas Eve and remain closed though Christmas Day. We will re-open at 10am on Monday, 12/26 with regular hours. Have a wonderful holiday.

The Wash Dog will be closing at 4:30pm today (Tues. Dec 20th) due to snowy weather. We plan on re-opening at 10am tomorrow, Dec 21st... assuming Mother Nature cooperates.

UPDATE: We will open at 10am each day this week until Saturday, Christmas Eve, when we will open at 9am.

Our employees love a good party. They threw a birthday celebration for Remy the black poodle who turned one today. Guests in attendance (from left to right) were Holly, Riku, AJ - who refused to look at the camera with his party hat on - Remy, Lily and Zero. Fun was had by all and party treats/libations were completely dog friendly. Good Times at The Wash Dog!

Our amazingly creative employees with Brandy at the lead, created a "Wishing Well" for Tammy at The Wash Dog. Customers can drop off cards and well wishes for Tammy while she is healing from her injuries. We will make sure those wishes are delivered to her on a regular basis, to keep her spirits up and let her know how much we are thinking of her.

It is with heavy hearts that we must report that our lead groomer Tammy fell on some outside stairs while moving to a new living location and not only broke both her wrists but suffered a bad head laceration. She is unable to work, needs to see an orthopedic surgeon and will be out for quite some time. She will also need financial assistance with medical bills and living expenses while on the mend and unable to work. A GoFundMe Account has been set up to help, if you would like to donate. Sometimes a girl just needs a flower to top off her fashion statement. The Wash Dog will re-open April 1st at 10am, with normal posted hours, as our maintenance is now complete. Happy Spring!!

The Wash Dog will be closed for our annual maintenance, March 29th through March 31st. We will re-open on Friday, April 1st at 10am, refreshed and ready to greet the awesome dogs of SW Seattle.

Beginning March 5th, The Wash Dog will no longer provide weekend walk-in nail trim services, due the overwhelming amount of customers now walking in for services of all kinds on Saturdays and Sundays.

Walk-in nail services will still be available, Monday - Friday 10am to 6:30pm. We appreciate your understanding and hope you have fun weekends with your dog!
