Now more than ever it is important to take care of your mental health. Deeper conditions will benefit too, but will need to be supported alongside therapies from other mental health experts.

This could be acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, trigger point injections, or bodywork. Usually, it’s a combination of many indicated therapies.

Whether it be in prevention, an acute situation, a recovery process, or the chronic stages of disease, I help my patients apply tools and strategies accordingly. This is because in the end, it is always up to the person to create the journey. I am just the caddy – with great acupuncture and bodywork skills.

This endeavor is limited by the amount of knowledge that has been translated over to English from Chinese, but any project must begin somewhere, and hopefully continue growing as its popularity and relevance in the greater society grows.

We are teachers and advocates to our patients, to our communities, and to each other. Not just about physical health but about other aspects of well-being that include emotional, mental, psychological, social, environmental, and even spiritual lives. Health is a part of all these aspects of ourselves.

Many patients come to acupuncture as a last resort. In reality the combination of different medicines and treatments can hold the key to a healthier and happier life.

In doing so, we create an adaptable modality that works to support the patient while also supporting any other therapies and western treatments that the patient is undergoing.
