I could not be more excited about our practice this year. We have a lot of exciting announcements coming on our continued path to be the best practice in Washington. I am thrilled to welcome Dr. Jesse Han to our team this summer. Dr. Jesse Han is an Oral and Facial Surgeon. He graduated with high honors from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA where he obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). He was also inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) honor society, reserved for top ranked students. In his training he was elected Class President and participated with numerous community outreach programs and we expect him to bring his leadership to our community as well.

Dr. Han's oral and maxillofacial surgery training was completed at the University of Washington (UW). At UW, he obtained his Doctorate of Medicine (MD) from the School of Medicine. After graduating medical school, he completed 2 years of general surgery training at UW, during which time he learned how to manage complex patient conditions. He then completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery training at UW where he received advanced training in dental implant, dentoalveolar, orthognathic, pathology and facial trauma surgery. He also received extensive training in outpatient sedation and general anesthesia. 

Dr. Han has particular interests in wisdom tooth removal, dental implant surgery, jaw reconstruction and postoperative pain management. He has published numerous studies in leading journals in these areas. His research has been recognized and awarded by multiple organizations. With world-class training and cutting edge research, Dr. Han will expand the access of our patients to receive the best surgical care available. Welcome to the best team Dr. Han.

This patient reported that she tends to “frown” often and is noticing the lines in between her eyes. She also grinds her teeth and wears a night guard but is still having jaw pain. This wonderful patient of ours underwent lower eyelid surgery to remove the bags under her eyes. As we age, the muscles and ligaments that hold the fat pads around the eye herniate forward. This is one of the causes that makes eyes appear tired. As the eye rotates upward, the fat is pushed forward. Her results are beautifully demonstrated in the before and after photos of her looking upwards. We performed a 45 minute transconjunctival blepharoplasty (which means no visible incision) with IV sedation in our office. Call us to schedule a consultation today 🤗
