Heads up, y'all! This weekend is gonna be POPPIN' with SeaFair and the DBB Downhill, which is set to begin at the Punk Rock Flea Market just down the street from us this year. Keep in mind as you make your way in for your appointment that there will likely be delays in traffic and that parking may be more difficult than usual. If you're driving, leave yourself plenty of time to get here and find a space! And for those taking public transportation, expect delays.

Happy Solstice! We've all been struggling through June-u-ary so we're feeling EXTRA grateful for the sun the last couple of days 🌻.

It is our FIFTEENTH ANNIVERSARY 😱😱😱 and it's honestly hard to believe how many years have passed since we first set up shop in this cozy little spot on Capitol Hill. Starting March 15th, we will be increasing our prices to reflect the rising expenses that we are seeing in the hair industry and beyond (hello, inflation 🙃🫠).

We understand that budgets are already tight for most folks right now, which is why we want to make this transition as easy as possible for all of our clients. If you have already received a quote for an upcoming service beyond March 15th, please reach out to us so we can honor that pricing. We will also continue to offer occasional deals and discounts to make things a little easier, so keep your eyes on our social media for those opportunities!

We don’t make this decision lightly–in fact, this change is the result of a year’s worth of conversations. Ultimately, as a small business, we need to ensure that we can stay open while paying our stylists fairly for the beautiful work they do every day 🌈
