We have a 2011 Subaru Outback in the shop that has had cylinder head gaskets replaced 2 times recently by other shops.
We pulled the engine apart, and found the problem that’s been there the whole time but was missed. A cracked cylinder head. It took about 1 hour in the hot tank to get the heads clean enough to see!
