We are having a meeting for club members who are interested in participating in the Twelvemile Drainage Ditch Derby! The meeting will be Thursday 2/15 from 7pm-7:30pm in Watt room 218! We will be answering questions and giving a general overview of the event and how you can participate! If you have questions or want to participate and can't make the meeting please reach out!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!! THE MOMENT YOUVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR… CLEMSON WHITEWATER CLUB PRESENTS “The Twelevemile Drainage Ditch Derby Don’t Go Slow Day” With three categories there’s a class for everyone! The first set of participants going fast down The Twelvemile will be intermediate and advanced boaters (class 4-5 experience). Any boat length allowed, if you want to beat up your brand new vanguard just to place first be our guest!! The second group of participants on the course will be beginners (class 2-3 experience)! Once again any boat length allowed! Our last, final, and most messy category will be our club boat Le Mans start! Participants will have to run to a haphazardly and methodically placed pile of CWC club boats, grab one, outfit it (or don’t) and then speed down The Twelvemile!! There are more twists to come to the Le Mans which will be announced later. Official course to be announced at the end of next week along with a volunteer sign up and participate sign up! START TRAINING NOW

We will also be holding a raffle!! The winners will be chosen and announced after the Drainage Ditch Derby winners crowning ceremony! We will be raffling off a Sweet Protection Strutter (size s/m or m/l), a Sawyer Strom Surge Kayak paddle (200cm), and a medium Pyranha Ozone (fire ant). Ticket pricing in the post, DM to buy a ticket!!
