My upbringing was pretty regular, in a classic blue-collar family. My mom worked as a secretary for a trucking company, while my dad owned a small construction business. He was incredibly hard-working, and I owe my strong work ethic to him. From my mom, I learned the lesson that with enough determination, I could achieve anything. Not long ago, I was creating content for our clients at Sensible Concrete Works LLC. It’s work I genuinely enjoy because it allows me to be both creative and helpful in promoting their services. The task at hand was to film the process of spreading gravel for concrete floors. On my way to the site, I was wondering how to make filming gravel interesting. But once I arrived, everything fell into place. My past experiences in construction, from my childhood and early adult years, came flooding back. These memories helped me create a piece that not only showcased the process but also connected deeply with my own personal history.
