Here is a quick refresh as to what each setting means on your panel:

When setting your alarm for stay, this means you are arming your exterior doors, windows, and glassbreaks. Any interior motion detectors/zones won’t be triggered with this setting. With this setting, there will be a slight delay when arming and disarming after leaving and entering your home.

When setting your alarm for away, this means you are arming interior zones as well as exterior. Motion detectors, interior zones, exterior doors, windows, and glassbreaks will all be armed in this setting. Away also gives you a slight delay when arming and disarming after leaving and entering your home.

When setting your alarm for instant, it is similar to stay, all exterior doors, windows, and glassbreaks will be set. However, there will be no delay when opening a window or door. The alarm will immediately go off.

When setting your alarm for max, it is similar to the away setting. All interior and exterior zones will be armed. However, again there will be no delay. Once a zone is triggered, the alarm will immediately sound.

With the recent break ins, we recommend to almost always set your alarm for stay when you are in the house during the day. At night, we recommend setting for away or max. We want our customers to feel as safe as possible. Any questions, please give us a call! (856)-589-1300.

It’s that time of year, spring forward. Don’t forget to check your smoke detector and carbon monoxide batteries.

In recent news, three men were reported in Mantua Township in the middle of the night in attempt to break into homes. Unfortunately, they were able to break into one of the homes. Before that, they attempted to break into a home that was secure with Briggs Security. As they attempted to break in, the alarms went off which startled them and caused them to flee the scene before actually entering the home.
