I had a great year in business for 2022….if you measure great by stats. Numbers don’t lie and mine were good (insert me dusting my shoulder off). If you measure great by quality of life and happiness…let’s just say I had some room for opportunity.

I care the most amount when I’m in a role. It’s the best part for you as a client when choosing to work with me and the worst part for me personally.

Real Estate, like so many fields, has its fair share of people I would never in real life choose to associate with. (If I’m anything always - I’m honest). I am peopled out for now - especially with the shysters. I’ve got zero patience left for people who operate in business like as****es:) Normally I thrive in the opportunity to wipe the floor with these folks. But I’ve been wiping the floor with these folks for years and I’m just tired of them. It’s like wack-a-mole.

I’m not quitting - but I’m taking some true time off. I need to focus on my fam, my health, and myself for the first time in almost 45 years.

I’m also tired of the socials. I don’t want you all up in my business right now:). And in Real Estate- it is a necessity. I want to enjoy Collier’s path right now and be the best guard rail for him that I possibly can - bc he’s leaving these 4 walls sooner than later.

I’ve got some really exciting things to share soon for Nourish. I’m always and forever sharing all the things for Collier….and never sorry if you think it’s an over-share. So I’ll be around. Not going into complete hermit mode. Just like semi-hermit mode:). It’s a scary thing to take a risk…especially when the risk is on your peace - not productivity.

Taking a little bit of a break from such a heavy workload and the socials of the medias. I am wrapping up current clients in August and then taking some time to work offline. The most important gig I have is being a mom, and that needs more of my attention for a bit as we head into HS🙌🏻🖤. I am still trying to wrap my heart around how we got to this point in a blink.

Work/life balance is such a manipulative phrase. It implies that it exists. It doesn't. You can ebb and flow and focus on what's most important to YOU. It's a constant tweaking and adjustments being made to get it right. Just when you think you've got it down, life throws you a curve ball and you've got to find a new "balance".

I'm still here and still taking clients, just pumping the brakes behind the scenes. Working quietly on some things I'm pretty proud of for my business and still committed to the work to be done for NourishKC.

Social media is such a gift in so many ways. It allows us all this incredible ability to stay connected and support one another in seconds. And if only that's how it was used all the time:). On the other hand - it can be such an emotional drain and time suck.
And I'm overdue for a break.

Got just under a million dollars under contract in about 72 hours. 3 properties.
✨Got my buyers a house $10k UNDER list:). Can’t even tell you how happy I was to call them and sing “you got yourself a house”🙌🏻❤️🙌🏻
✨Multiple offers and over ask on a listing. Great terms.
✨Can’t chat about the other one bc rules:).
I’m also closing a little under $1M this week - 3 transactions.

My point in sharing is to show you that anything is still possible right now….if you have the right business partners.
I can’t get this done without clients who stay the course, lenders who work incredibly hard, and a brokerage full of amazing people all ready to jump in and help get clients to the finish line.

You never know what’s possible until you ask. Interest rates are rising - but still historically low. Inventory is still light - but we are still getting buyers in homes. Selling is a little bananas- but we are still making it as stress free as possible.
