Board is done with the custom pieces laid out. I designed the pieces in Fusion360 about a month ago, so now they have a home on a new board.

Found a solid oak loft bed at the Habitat for Humanity Sheboygan Restore and converted it into a "mom approved" bunk for our oldest. Now to update the rest of the bedroom.

Wood Working from Childhood
I spent a lot of time as a kid tinkering in the garage. Building random things to solve problems and learning how to use tools. I would work with scraps in my father’s bin of miscellaneous pieces of wood. I was given the freedom to tinker and try to make things whenever I needed. There were lessons along the way with building a deck and a shed, putting in timbers for gardens, and just working with my hands. One of my favorite things to do as a kid was to build docks for my toy boats. I would grab any scraps I could to make my docks. We had a spot in our garage that created a lip that was probably around a 1/2”, perfect for scrap pieces of plywood. This memory sticks with me as I continue making projects and working with my hands today.
