Finally finished my friendship bracelets for SFR! We never did stuff like this in AU/NZ when I was there. Last year I learned so many people make things to hand out or swap from pins, to stickers, bracelets, and more!!! So I thought I’d do bracelets this year. :)

Before Scentsy I was always searching for something that filled me with anticipation, fun, control, good challenges, self growth, financial independence, community, acceptance, and something I would wake up and be excited for. I was in endless abusive relationships, I really disliked and got physically ill sometimes working for other people, my body clock ticks differently than 9-5 and someone was always in control of me, my work schedule, what I wore, what color my hair could be, how big my jewelry could be, etc etc. I realized from the time we are born until the time we retire, someone’s trying to dictate all of the above! Parents, school, jobs…But I thrive when I can be comfortable and be myself —- when I’m myself, that’s where the magic lies.
When I moved overseas I tried to fit in - I was unhappy, my inner light was dimmed, and at one point I was crying for unexplainable reasons. My man said I should call the nurse hotline and they sent me to a counselor. Turns out It was basically my soul crying from trying to forced into all these boxes AND having people around me 24/7 (home and work) and I needed to be alone because that’s where I could be myself and recharge.
Lightbulb moment.
2015 Enter Scentsy —— And I never looked back! I got everything I was always missing and searching for! Internally and externally. It was the missing piece I didn’t know I’d find when I borrowed money to join SCENTSY. It’s the free trips around the world that I was able to take friends and family on. It’s the global friendships and family that feels stronger than a lot of my biofamily. It’s acceptance. It’s connection. And if I didn’t believe in it SO much, I sure the hell wouldn’t have started by business over when I moved countries! I mean - think about it!

🏒There Are Different Versions Of The Film In Different Countries
It's only one small change, but it's definitely an interesting one. Riley's father daydreams about either hockey or soccer depending on the country of release
😀The Writers Considered More Emotions Than They Cast
The writers considered 27 different emotions for inclusion in the film. They eventually settled on five (Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Fear, and Anger) to make it less complicated. Some of the major emotions that ended up being cut included Surprise, Pride, and Trust.
🤓There's A Sly Reference To The Late Steve Jobs In The Film
There is a scene in Dream Productions where a camera filter called the "reality distortion field" filter is added. This was in reference to former Pixar CEO, Steve Jobs. He would do anything to convince his employees they could get the job done - they called it his "reality distortion field."
🤬The Entire Cast Of 'Inside Out' Wanted To Be Anger
Asked if they had wanted to play any other emotion, Amy Poehler, Bill Hader, Phyllis Smith, and Mindy Kaling all choose the role of Anger (played by Lewis Black). Although he admitted that the role suited him perfectly, if Black could have picked another emotion it would have been Disgust.
🖇️More Than Half Of The Emotions Starred On 'The Office
Phyllis Smith (Sadness), Mindy Kaling (Disgust), and Bill Hader (Fear), have all previously starred on or appeared on the American version of The Office, as did Rashida Jones (who plays Cool Girl's Emotions).
🟡That Bubbly Texture On The Emotions Almost Broke The Bank
That bubbly texture of the emotions was originally supposed to be just on Joy, but due to the difficulty of animating this unique design, after eight months of work, the animators decided to scrap it altogether because it became unaffordable.
However, when Pixar Chief Creative Officer John Lasseter saw it, he said, "That's great. Put it on all the characters." The whole team was in near panic. Commenting on this incident, production designer Ralph Eggleston said, "You could hear the core technical staff just hitting the ground, the budget falling through the roof. But it was all good. They found a way to make it work."
🔺Each Character's Shape Reflects The Emotion They Represent
According to director Pete Docter, each emotion is based on the particular shape their emotion represents. Joy is based on a star, Sadness is a teardrop, Anger is a fire brick, Fear is a raw nerve, and Disgust is broccoli. However, Docter noted that he does, in fact, like broccoli very much.
🎥The Director And Designer Declared This Their Most Challenging Film
The director, Pete Docter, said this film was "one of the most challenging I've ever had to put together," the main difficulty being that it has to tell what is going on with the girl and what is going on in her mind at the same time.
Additionally, the production designer, Ralph Eggleston, worked for five and a half years on Inside Out. That's the longest he had ever worked on one film and he says it was the hardest process, too.
🍬Bing B**g Represents All Of The Emotions
The colors on Bing B**g's flower represent the skin colors of all the emotions. Yellow for Joy, green for Disgust, red for Anger, blue for Sadness, and purple for Fear.
😨Bill Hader Recorded All Of His Lines By Himself
Bill Hader recorded the entire movie by himself. He read lines with director Pete Docter, so every scene you see Fear interacting with anyone else you'll know that it was all recorded separately... which is pretty impressive
