Spread the Word about Colorectal Cancer Screening Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer diagnosed in the US. According to the American Cancer Society, approximately 1 in 23 men and 1 in 24 women will develop this cancer at some point in their lives.
March is National ! This topic is not only near and dear to me, but it also doesn’t have enough awareness around it.

Honoring Colorectal Cancer awareness month. In memory of those who have passed and those that are currently fighting.

March is colorectal cancer awareness month and is a great time to discuss the importance of colon cancer screening. The most effective way to reduce your risk of colorectal cancer is to be screened routinely, beginning at the age of 45. Colonoscopy is considered the gold standard of colorectal screening methods due to the ability to detect and remove polyps during the same procedure. We are always here for any questions that you may have.
