QUALITY TECHNICIAN

Harbour Industries, Inc. a leading manufacturer of high performance wire and cable is looking for an experienced Quality Control Technician for 3rd shift. The ideal candidate must have the ability to perform electrical, mechanical and environmental testing, final inspection and calibration of test and measurement equipment. Strong interpersonal skills required. Must have five years of relevant quality experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Pay commensurate with experience.

Seeking experienced and inexperienced full time machine operators to work in a team environment and a drug free work place. These positions are available on our 2nd and 3rd shifts. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, pass a drug test, basic math test, and have a H.S. diploma or equivalent. Starting wage is $16.25/hr to $19.62/hr. Experienced? We pay prevailing wage for specific wire and cable skills. We are willing to train!

Sales Application Engineering Manager
Harbour Industries, the industry leader in the manufacturing of high performance cable, is seeking a Sales Application Engineering Manager, RF Coax. Reporting to the Specialty Cable Business Segment Manager, this individual will be responsible for determining customer needs, proposing viable solutions and developing sales and marketing strategies. Working with the engineering and sales teams, this individual will visit existing and prospective customers and recommend new coax cables for product development.

This position will be based at Harbour's corporate headquarters in Shelburne, Vermont. Minimum Qualifications: College degree (BS, BA, or EE) and at least 10 years' experience selling and designing coax cable, RF connectors or cable assemblies.

Product Release - Spiral Flex Coaxial Cable

Harbour Industries recently released a new generation of high performance low loss coaxial cables designed for a number of applications including military and commercial aviation, communications, and test equipment. Spiral Flex Coax is available in two sizes and is considerably more flexible than other spiral strip shielded constructions on the market. The increase in flexibility is achieved by use of stranded center conductors and a specially formulated 105° C jacketing compound with a low coefficient of friction. Just like their SS Spiral Strip counterparts, the SFL Spiral Flex Coax cables offer excellent shielding effectiveness. RF leakage performance of -110 dB has been measured which exceeds the noise level of the test equipment. Standard connectors are readily available from a number of sources.
