Let’s talk autoimmune diseases and how it can affect the nail or nail bed.
I have Crest syndrome. Which is also known as limited scleroderma. This causes hardening and/or tightening of the skin.
What happened here is my skin harden and the nail bed released my nail from it. So I had to clip it off.
Will it grow back attached to the nail bed? I’m really not sure. I’m very new to this.
Did it hurt when it lifted away? No not at all!
This was not from any type of product damage. This was not from improper use of tools. This was not a reaction to products either.
This is a side effect from one of my autoimmune diseases.
So the tiny nails gets a bit of polish and I learning to not be self conscious of it.
It could be worse🩵
