Family Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-Centered, 12-Step recovery program for families. We offer childcare and programs for elementary, middle and high school students. Come together as a family to find hope and freedom from hurts, habits, or hang-ups of any kind. Dinner provided.
Last Tuesday our Family Celebrate Recovery discussed the importance and role of Friendships and Sponsors.
Our adults and youth Gave Thanks to God for friendships & sponsors because…

-“They help me stay on track and show they are proud of me. They didn’t leave me.”

DivorceCare
Wednesdays 6:30pm-8pm · 13 Weeks · Starting Sept. 4th
DivorceCare is a group where caring people come alongside you as you find healing from the pain of separation or divorce. At this video-based support group, you’ll find helpful counsel to manage the emotional turmoil and practical tools for decision-making. Topics include grief, loneliness, forgiveness, road to recovery, financial & legal issues and more.
DC4K (DivorceCare 4 Kids)
Wednesdays 6:30pm-8pm · 13 Weeks · Starting Sept. 4th
DC4K is for children ages 5–12 whose parents are in a separation or divorce. It provides children with a safe and neutral place to gain an age-appropriate understanding of separation and divorce. It’s filled with activities, games, music, and crafts that help kids process their feelings and communicate with their parents.

This past week Second Baptist Church of Shelbyville, IN hosted the 108th Annual Session of Southeastern District Association of the Indiana Missionary Baptist State Convention!
They chose The Bridge as their local mission project for this year. Churches from across the state collected items to donate to us to help us continue serving our community.

Last week we took time to thank our Celebrate Recovery dinner volunteers. These volunteers go above and beyond every week to provide meals on Tuesday and Thursday nights all year long!

Yesterday was so special. 10 women were saved and chose to get baptized in the Shelby County jail. TEN. 🙌🏼 There is freedom in Christ no matter who or where you are. ⛓️💥⛓️Thank You Ashley Renee Williams and Merry Popplewell for all you do.
Thank you to Prison Fellowship for generously donating Bibles to our Jail Ministry Team. Your donation allows us to provide access to God's word to those we serve in our community. Thank you for helping us provide Bibles on the inside.
