Tyson Shelbyville Partners with Tennessee Rehabilitation Center (TRC)
We are proud to announce our collaboration with The Tennessee Rehabilitation Center (TRC) in Smyrna, a state-operated training center dedicated to providing career and technical education for individuals with disabilities. TRC offers comprehensive vocational evaluation and skills training in various areas of study, ensuring students are equipped for greater independence and competitive employment within their local communities.

At TRC-Smyrna, students engage in classroom instruction, hands-on training, and campus life activities tailored to their individual educational goals. The length of enrollment varies based on students' interests, abilities, and educational needs, culminating in a memorable graduation ceremony as they prepare to enter the workforce.

We at Tyson Shelbyville are proud to partner with TRC in supporting individuals with disabilities on their journey to empowerment and integration into the workforce. Through this collaboration, we aim to foster inclusivity and create opportunities for meaningful employment for all.

Our Contribution to Earth Day Tree Planting 🌎🌱🌳

Through this initiative, we've contributed to planting a tree, reinforcing our commitment to environmental sustainability. It was a pleasure to welcome the Poultry Production and Applied Nutrition students from TN State University today, for a presentation and plant tour.

Today, we delivered the Food Drive items that we collected at Tyson Shelbyville!

Our Tyson van has been Santa's sleigh this week taking gifts to the Salvation Army for their annual Angel Tree gift donation. Giving to help others is what Christmas is about. Tyson Shelbyville collaborated with the Salvation Army to ensure children get to experience the joy of Christmas this year.

The Boys & Girls Clubs mission statement is: “To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.” We are so happy to support such a wonderful organization that helps empower our youth! Tyson Shelbyville provided this check to help them with their annual fundraiser and we also donated the chicken to help feed those that attended their annual fundraising event “Stake and Chicken.”
