Cups, hats, t- shirts, or what. Maybe some large bags to collect gourds? This will be our 20th anniversary of the Pumpkin Patch and 28th years of growing our pumpkins. We will be doing a few things to help celebrate. Thank you all for making this all possible.

While the rain has not been good for getting into the hay field, the pumpkins sure are enjoying the moisture! Can’t wait to see the variety as they grow!
Spring is here with Summer on it’s heels!! Gary and Gabby got the pumpkins all in the ground this week. Finished just before a big rain here last night of about 1/2 inch. Perfect timing for the pumpkins. Gabby told her 3 year old daughter, Paisley, that they planted the pumpkins. Paisley went to her room and put on her backpack. She then came out and said “mom I want my pants and shoes on”. Gabby said, “Are you going somewhere?” Paisley replied, “I want to go pick my pumpkin!!” I think we need to show her how pumpkins grow
To all the Moms that bring their little darlings to our pumpkin patch…..HAPPY MOTHERS DAY !!

We would also like to thank you for all the cards and booklets from the various schools and people that we received thanking us for their pumpkin patch adventures. I like to say that the pumpkin patch is a "win win" for us all. We love operating the patch so you can all have a family outing, but could not do this if you did not come to our patch AND you could come to the patch for your visit if we did not do this. So we all win!
The fall this year was great weather. Most times we have our pumpkins frozen by now. That is why we close our patch for the season every year on the Sunday before Columbus Day. So for those who missed our patch this year, put it on your calender that we will be closed for the season on Columbus Day every year. Tonight we wrap up our pumpkin patch by taking all our employees and their spouses to dinner together at a restaurant to say thank you to all our great help, who without them we could not operate our patch. See you all in the fall of 2023.
