Avery Nikirk is Pilot Mound Bound

Here's some good pictures of Avery last weekend. She was at a big showcase in Winnipeg. They wrap up the regular season tomorrow night and then willl be gone to Penticton, British Columbia - March 7th through 15th for championships! She will be home for Spring Break and can't wait to wrap our arms around our girl!

#8 is doing great!!! We are so excited to have her home in a few short weeks for Christmas Break!!!

Avery has two big tournaments under her belt and is headed to a showcase and Penticton, BC! It is a 20 hour road trip for the girls! They will be going up against other hockey academy and prep schools so it will be fun to watch this weekend! She has four games. Most of them are at about 12:30 our time showing on FloTV.

She also ScOrED her very first goal for PMHA last Saturday!!! GO BuFFS!!!

Official first day of school pic! They started school yesterday and it was basically orientation and getting to know your teachers! She is settling in well and making great friends! First tournament this weekend in Swift Current, AB!

We left our hearts in PM, MB. Avery instantly bonded with her new teammates! The boys were all very hesitant of coming together, but the girls instantly moved tables to be together. We met tons of great families, got her room all setup, and checked out her locker room, and got my last hugs and squeezes in with my #8. It will be a long ride home. Avery Nikirk

It has been quite a week! Avery got her braces off and we left home Friday! We had our first major stop in Minot and then finished the trek Saturday. We were stopped at the border for 2 hours to get her visitor pass through June! We took to sewing and braiding licorice to pass the time. 😂 We made it to Pilot Mound, unloaded the pickup, drove around town, and ate at the local restaurant. We are now 14 miles away getting our last night together and she officially checks in at 9 a.m. tomorrow and we say our goodbyes by 5.
