Inside A CNC Machine
Have you ever wondered what it looks and sounds like inside a CNC machine while it was running?? Craftco's very own machine shop supervisor, Josh Johnson, got this incredible video (edited for speed). Craftco maintains an up to date machine shop, focusing on short-run CNC production as well as manual machining. An order of one part or one thousand parts, we can meet your machining needs!

Old school mills and lathes are still just as tight as the most modern CNC equipment when combined with kickass skilled machinists from the 307. This 48" x 8" diameter shaft had some attention given to it. Started on the Lion Lathe to drill a 2' hole down the center, then it went to the ST40L, aka "Lisa", to be turned and grooves cut in, then it's final stop at the good ol "Devliegasaurus" for some horizontal milling to remove 2.7" of material off the top. This accentuates our offer of 1 piece to 1,000 pieces. It's a good day at Craftco!! #oldschool.
