If you are able... is the place to go to help the Sherman Historical Society with a donation to help us continue the mission set forth by Miss Mattison/Mrs. Larson back in the 40's. It's an easy way to help the Yorker Museum with its programs over the next year. This year is Sherman's Bicentennial, and we have a great day planned at the museum. Music, demonstrators, horse wagon rides, and refreshments will be part of this wonderful day. Your gift to the SHS will help defray the costs of this day. June 8 is the ONE DAY to go to this site and help. THANK YOU!!!
GiveBigCHQ is on the way! It's our opportunity to donate to the Yorker Museum (Sherman Historical Society) to allow the mission to continue!
Thank you to Wes Tenpas, Kent Wiggers, and Dan Norcross for their help in preparing the museum for opening this year!! We appreciate all of our volunteers!!
The mitten tree ceremony was nicely attended this evening.
Tonight, at the museum, we will host a ceremony to honor those who have passed. Their names are on mittens and placed on a Christmas tree outside the fence. The tree will be lit and the names read tonight at 6. Please join us. Afterwards, walk to the Community Church to see the live Nativity.
Please join us during the chicken and biscuit lunch on Saturday the 3rd from 10 until 2 and Sunday the 4th from 5-9 p.m. during the potluck dinner upstairs at the firehall to view a display of Nativity Scenes belonging to local folks. Start your holiday season off on a special note!
