Denim Day takes place on the last Wednesday of April, which is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. This day of action and awareness is an event in which people are encouraged to wear denim as a visible means of protest to combat victim blaming, and to educate others about the misconceptions that surround sexual violence.

Every year on March 21st, people all around the world come together to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day by wearing brightly colored, mismatched socks. March 21st, is symbolic because people with Down syndrome have 3 copies of their 21st chromosome. Socks were chosen because the karyotype of Ds chromosomes actually looks like mismatched socks!

Carrus Hospitals celebrated hospital week May 8th through May 12th with dress up days and lots of good food! Employees received donuts, ice cream, tacos, Kona ice & a cookout! Drawings for gift cards were done daily & everyone received a new t shirt. We love and appreciate our employees and their hard work to make Carrus a great place to work and a safe place for our patients!
