Brought this piece with us from Louisiana and it will kick off getting back into furniture life. If you’ve followed us for a bit then you’ve probably figured out this style is my fav to refinish but I never keep them. Not sure if this will be the one or not yet but I ❤️ all the detail. I just never have the right space 🫤

She’s an impressive young lady and like Cole - a military child. She’s working her way through college and gets credit just for the presentation so there’s no obligation to buy anything at all! I don’t have any before pics because it was that bad 😳. We had the wire shelving - which isn’t a bad thing except for the amount of stuff we have 😂. Put in a ClosetMaid system and wow what a difference. We’ve used different brand closet systems in the past and I have to say this was the easiest one to assemble and install. The drawers went in smooth and are even soft close. ♥️❤️♥️

While Cole has been at Yale this week - we decided to work on his bathroom. It’s tiny so we needed to create as much storage as possible. I forgot to get the starting pic but he had a dark brown vanity with ZERO drawers, an oval sink that took up all the counter space and a dark brown mirror. We first changed out the vanity - then had a new countertop installed. Next we added the shelf, faucet and a recessed medicine cabinet plus new light fixture. Functions much better now and it’s cute too 🥰

As promised here’s the project by Little JRS with a little help from Dad ❤️. Turned out amazing - especially for his first project 🥰

Almost got the office put back together. Mr. JRS even built some floating shelves for in there already. Makes huge difference 🥰. Little JRS (or not so little anymore) is even building his first piece and its for the back patio. I’ll share pics in the next day or two once it’s complete. ❤️♥️❤️

Just wanted to post a little update. We are almost unpacked at our new home. Yesterday we got the garage setup and soon we will be back at it. So far we are loving the cooler weather - the houses are different - people are nice - Cole is disappointed with pretty much every sweet tea he’s ordered 😂 and I don’t understand why it’s so hard to find a restaurant that serves Coke instead of Pepsi 🤔. We’ve already started swapping things out in the house and I’ll post pics soon for y’all 🥰

Saw this and had to get it. Not sure it’s his fav but he’s agreed it should go in his new office. 😂

Thought I’d post a couple of finished pics of the gentleman’s chest. Everything was gray but of course we wanted white 😂. I’d post pics of the entire set for yall but it will have to wait until after we move 🫤. I love how it turned out and while I thought he was crazy to spray all the extra colors you can see them in the distressed areas and adds a little something extra 🥰

For those lucky people that don’t move like we do. This is what moving craziness looks like 😂. It’s empty walls and tight spaces - especially with 2 houses worth of furniture in here 🤣

I’m starting to pack up the guest room and decided this piece isn’t moving with us since we won’t really have grays in the next place. Very large painting in grays and whites with hints of brown and black. It’s 59 long and just over 39 tall. Pick up on NE side of Leesville $100

Yall I seriously have the sweetest and some extremely talented neighbors. One of whom just brought me this homemade sourdough bread that’s almost too pretty to eat 😋 ❤️

We’ve sold the house and a majority of the furniture sold with it but I’m trying to decide what decor to take and what to sell. I’ve had sooo many requests for my clock over the years and I’m debating whether it’s time for a new family to enjoy it. It’s roughly 36 in diameter (I think I can’t measure it at the moment). If I do let it go I think I’ll do it auction style. Do I still have anyone interested???

Been doing a little work at a friend’s house. One accent wall down a few more projects to go 😊. This wall looks even larger now and makes the dining area feel like it has its own dedicated space in this amazing open floor plan. I’ll post more pics as we complete projects over there 🥰. There’s going to be a serious pantry makeover happening among other things 😳

Well Leesville - sadly the Army says it’s time to leave. We love our home and neighborhood here but it’s time to put the house on the market.
