Well, we didn’t last long at the ranch tonight. Kale got overheated and that was that. He is like his Mama and doesn’t like this extreme heat. But I wanted to give a shout out to Pam and Christine and Chris at the ranch!! Look at the pretty banner they made for Posh West to have at the ranch!! So beautiful!! AND Christine put my fave horse, Alesan right next to our station today. Appreciative of all the little details to try to make it be a beautiful night despite the heat just being too much for Kale. Christine, the owner at HHH Ranch came into Manhattan tonight to get fitted for jeans!! She had a tough decision to make on which style to go with….she looked awesome in many of them!! Kale and I will be out at the ranch this Saturday after work to volunteer again! 💗💗💗
Yes, I am a business owner but I am a person with feelings just like you. For the last week, I have had to read and hear many rude comments being made on my posts from price being too high to style being terrible, etc. I am just the right amount of exhausted and emotional today for many reasons to not be able to look away. I would never comment something rude on a small business owners post. Sure there may be things we don’t agree with or like but do we need to put it in writing all the time? Just to be rude?? Why can’t we just keep scrolling. Life is too short and too precious to be rude for absolutely no reason at all. I try my best with everything I do, especially with this business. I have young girls that work for me and sometimes I have to model for them that it’s not ok to treat people badly! I try to be the complete opposite of that, cherishing the opinions of my customers and my staff. I will be fine as tomorrow is a new day….but I just wanted to remind some that although I have a good amount of followers on social media, I work hard for every single order, every item that is sold, a ton of thought and processes go into that one item. I am a real person with not so tough skin tonight.

Our Family Business
Posh West Boutique was a continuum business created after a journey with Lula for 3 years. I built a community of lovely ladies from that business and when it was time for the door on that journey to close, Posh West Boutique was created.
I am the mom of 2 remarkable boys, Jaden and Kale. The boys are 16 years old and are very much the reason my business was created. They are very involved in the business and our customers love that. They love knowing that shopping with our family directly helps us support our boys. Jaden has an immune deficiency called CVID which requires him to have monthly infusions to boost his immune system. Kale has an autism diagnosis which has a lot of underlying medical diagnoses fueling it. This business allows me to be home with the boys, to make sure their needs are being met, scheduling doctor/therapy/infusion appointments, etc. This business allows me to teach them the skills needed to be more independent in their lives. This business gives me the social outlet that I very much need in my life. This business allows me to dote on other women and help them see the beauty within themselves. This business allows us the freedom to create our own schedule and work when time allows and take off a day when needed. I hold my customers in my heart and am very appreciative of this journey that they have been on with me. We recently opened a shop in Shorewood, Il. A place for the locals to come in and see us, try stuff on and shop in a welcomed and comfortable environment. This new shop allows us to have more space to expand the business, have a large area to ship our packages, more room for me to teach my boys the process of owning a business and the opportunity to give back to the community. We are very involved in the autism community and look forward to being involved in the Village of Shorewood community.
