Caddo Parish has been Henry Whitehorn's home for the past 45 years, and the veteran law enforcement executive is extremely passionate about the community and its future. Now more than ever, the citizens of Caddo Parish need strong leadership, who is committed to preventing crime in our community, not just responding to it.

Caddo Parish, there’s a new Sheriff in town!

Thank you for going to the polls and letting your voices be heard. You all showed up in numbers, and because of your relentlessness, we were able to secure this victory.

If you didn’t vote for me, that’s ok. I will be the Sheriff for all of Caddo Parish.

I am committed to being tough on crime but fair, and I can assure you that I will not be releasing hundreds of people from jail to address overcrowding in Caddo Correctional Center. My solution for this problem includes working with state and federal agencies to reduce the number of inmates and implementing the work release program again, which will only be available to those persons who have not committed violent or s*x crimes.

I also believe in working to get ahead of crime before it happens, which is why I am committed to partnering with organizations to create parish-wide intervention and prevention programs that are geared towards keeping our youth out of trouble.

Now that this race is finally over, the real work begins.
It's been a long time coming, but change is now here! We will work together to prevent crime, and I look forward to serving as your Sheriff of Caddo Parish!

Signed,
Sheriff-Elect Henry L. Whitehorn

Transparency and Accountability are two extremely important factors when choosing YOUR next Sheriff.

Choose a candidate who understands the importance of transparency and accountability in law enforcement and the impact it has.

Henry Whitehorn is dedicated to these principles, ensuring a safer and fair community.

Take a family member or friend with you to the polls tomorrow, March 23. Polls are open from 7am - 8pm.

Vote for Henry Whitehorn, #174 on your ballot!

In this election, choose the candidate who embodies the qualities of the sheriff our parish truly needs:

✅experience
✅commitment, and
✅a deep understanding of law enforcement.
Henry Whitehorn is the best candidate for sheriff that embodies these qualities.

Vote for me, Henry Whitehorn, #174 on your ballot, as your next Sheriff.

We are almost at the finish line, but there’s still work to do! Let’s keep the momentum going. Tonight, grab your sneakers and race to Club Haze.

But don’t stop there. This Saturday, grab a friend, family member, or co-worker, and race to the polls to vote #174 Henry Whitehorn for Sheriff - the only candidate on the ballot with law enforcement experience.

03/20/2024

Henry Whitehorn is committed to being tough on crime yet fair!

Don't be fooled by lies that Whitehorn will let hundreds of prisoners out of jail. John Nickelson has zero law enforcement experience, but he does have 20 years of legal experience and knows the sheriff has NO AUTHORITY to just let people out of jail.

Nickelson has NO EXPERIENCE and NO PLANS, but he has plenty of LIES!

Election Day is this Saturday, March 23rd. Vote for the only candidate with law enforcement experience and a real plan to address crime and overcrowding at the Caddo Correctional Center - #174 Henry Whitehorn.

03/20/2024

We are 3️⃣ days away from the Sheriff election.

They say 3rd times a charm, so let’s make it true in this Sheriff race.

Let’s show the naysayers that we rightfully won the run-off Sheriff race in November 2023, and the recount on November 27, and on March 23, 2024.

Bring a friend or two with you when you go to the polls.

03/19/2024

The absence of a law enforcement expert in the Sheriff's role will put public safety at risk.

Caddo Parish needs and deserves a leader who can effectively manage our local law enforcement agencies.

With over 40 years of law enforcement experience, Henry Whitehorn, is the only candidate that knows the particulars of law enforcement, and has proven results in this field.

Vote for Henry Whitehorn, #174 on the ballot, this Saturday, March 23, 2024.

03/19/2024

Let’s not miss the opportunity for change!

Choosing my opponent could mean missing a crucial opportunity for positive change in our community.

Henry Whitehorn represents a path towards a safer and more just parish.

Choose Positive Change. Choose a Safer Parish. Choose Henry Whitehorn.

Vote for Henry Whitehorn this Saturday, March 23rd.

03/18/2024

Working with the community and incorporating their feedback is something that the Sheriff needs to do.

As an experienced law enforcement officer, Henry Whitehorn understands how critical it is for law enforcement to partner with the community.

Without the community’s leadership and input, there will be a disconnect between the Sheriff's Department and the people they serve.

Vote for Henry Whitehorn as your next Sheriff-elect!
