Cindy Lou has been at the Humane Society since December. Please share this post and if you can go to their page and share her picture they just put up. I have tried to share it twice and both times Facebook has blocked the post so I took a picture of the flyer we put on pizza boxes so we can find her a home.

Please be patient with our staff for the next week. Our walk in cooler went out and we have a refrigerated truck in the back parking lot so they have to run out back for anything that is kept in the cooler.

Update- shout out to Eagle Truck rental in shreveport -Justin. They were ready to hook us up but one of our food vendors came through with a refrigerated truck . If y’all need any kind of rental like this please consider calling these kind folks!!👍🏻

Our walk in cooler has gone out. We had a company come look at it Tuesday. Called yesterday about quote and getting it fixed. Quote wasn’t done. Called this morning and apparently there has been some “miscommunication” between the technicians. They are going to try and get someone over and see if they can temporarily fix it. Is there anywhere I can rent a refrigerated truck or a company that has an evaporator coil that can come fix it?

On Tuesday, June 11, 2024, we will be having a fundraiser and donating 10 percent of our sales to help Michael Powell trap and neuter/spay stray cats. He has been making a great deal of progress to help stop strays from having babies. Come in from open to close or pick up your order to help us raise money to help him out.

MIKE POWELL JUST CALLED ME AND SAID THERE IS A GENTLEMAN THAT WILL DONATE $5.00 FOR EVERY PIZZA Y’ALL PURCHASE ON TUESDAY TO GO TOWARD HELPING SPAY/NEUTER STRAY CATS.

Tonight we had an incident with a beyond rude customer named Kevin who drives a gray jeep with colorado plates. He not only treated staff with much disrespect but he also threatened and attempted to intimidate them. We did call SPD but unfortunately he chose not to stick around. Not sure if it’s a full moon or what. Just want to apologize to our customers who witnessed all this and many thanks for standing up for our staff to this jackwagon.

Yes I have a lot of respect for people, especially servers, and I always treat them with respect when I go out to eat. And I know the employees at Smittys also treat other service industry employees with respect. So next time you go out to eat treat your servers with respect. No need to be rude and ugly. They are trying their best to take care of you so you can enjoy eating out and not having to cook or clean up. Thank you to all the hardworking people at Smitty’s.

A picture of the 8th grade students at Southfield School that wrote bios for some of the pups at the Humane Society of Northwest LA that were adopted. They are holding pictures of the pups they wrote bios on. There are still pups there that need a home. If you are interested in adopting please look at the website for HSNWLA and fill out an application. These students did an amazing job and we were proud to be a part of this by putting their flyers on our pizza boxes.
