Get Ready for the Highland Jazz and Blues Festival – With a Dash of Fun and Safety!
The 20th Annual Highland Jazz and Blues Festival is grooving into Columbia Park this Saturday, September 14th, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We at the Shreveport Police Department are here to make sure the only thing breaking down at this festival is the beat! Here’s how we can all keep it safe and sound:
• Leash Those Furry Friends: We love your pets as much as you do, but we’d love them more on a leash! No exceptions. Yes, that includes your cat who thinks he’s a dog.
• Keep Your Snacks at Home: Tempted to bring your world-famous potato salad? Resist! We’ve got vendors who’ve got you covered from BBQ to Cotton Candy. Again, leave the cooler in the car (or, better yet, at home).
• No Grills or Coolers: Trust us, we know your tailgate setup is legendary, but let’s save the grilling for another day. Columbia Park is staying grill-free this Saturday!
• Parking and Shuttle Service: Planning to drive? Mall St. Vincent has got you covered with a shuttle service to the event because parking at the park will be tighter than your Uncle Joe’s guitar strings.
• Onsite Facilities: ATMs and restrooms will be available, so there’s no need to BYOB (Bring Your Own Bathroom)!
• Free Admission: Yes, you read that right! The festival is free, so you can save your cash for that extra funnel cake.
The 20th Annual Highland Jazz and Blues Festival is in 2 days!!! Are you coming?
