Our growing family-focused chiropractic practice is seeking a confident, self-motivated and detail-oriented person to assist with patient care. This person will play a key role with helping the doctor with daily patient notes and specialty appointments such as new patient exams. The ability to listen and appropriately document while providing excellent patient experiences in our office is paramount to excel in this position.

This position is within a small office environment; therefore, your opinion matters and your presence will have a direct impact on the growth of the office and our ability to serve high quality chiropractic care.

The ideal candidate is someone interested in growing as an individual—both personally and professionally and sees themselves as a long-term team member. This position requires standing and moving throughout the office.

Team members are responsible to arrive 30 minutes before each shift and be available 30 minutes after each shift ends. The hours are approximately 30-36 hours per week.

Patient Hours are:
Monday: 9:00-12:30; 2:30-6:00
Tuesday: 2:30-6:00
Wednesday: 9:00-12:30; 2:30-6:00
Thursday: 9:00-12:30; 2:30-6:00
Saturday: 9:00-10:00 (Doctor Only)

**Additional hours will be included on Tuesday & Friday mornings for training and administrative tasks.**

This person will be extremely reliable and have a strong work ethic with a proven ability to multi-task effectively. The ability to learn quickly, be able to perform basic math and execute tasks with speed and efficiency are important qualities for this candidate to have.

The ideal candidate wants to be involved and elevate the running of the patient care side of the office. This person will need to learn and successfully navigate our electronic health records system and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. The candidate will directly assist the doctor and effectively communicate with patients and other team members. Other duties include assisting with general office tasks such as data entry and file management as well as light housekeeping duties.

Did you know Queen Elizabeth was the first to breastfeed her children!? It was Royal tradition that the infants be handed to a wet nurse for feeding and Royals did not breastfeed but this crazy idea stopped with her. Although she received negative feedback from many authority figures and even her sister she insisted she be the one who feed her infants & breast was best. By breaking this tradition she paved the way to allow future Royals to be able to choose to breastfeed as well!

Not only did her rebellious side break the mold for breastfeeding but she also was the first to ever have a father present for a birth! Queen Elizabeth delivered 4 babies total with one birth being via c section after a 30 hour labor, 3 VBAC, and all home births. The last VBAC home birth being the one she required the father be present for.

As many mourn her loss we remember & honor her efforts to change traditions and being an advocate for breastfeeding!

This morning two of our expecting patients who came to us in their third trimester with breech babies shared the good news that since starting chiropractic care their babies have turned head down and they’re ready for their vaginal births. Many providers and soon-to-be parents don’t fully understand the value of chiropractic in preparing mom and baby for birth. The alignment and biomechanics of a pregnant pelvis can influence tension in the uterine and pelvic floor muscles, the space available for baby to move and find the best position, and the ability of the pelvis to open as baby descends through the pelvis. A subluxation (a shift in alignment disrupting movement and function) in the pelvis can alter all of that, leading to an uncomfortable pregnancy and a difficult birth - including a breech or transverse position of baby. While chiropractic is NOT a breech-turning treatment, the gentle adjustments can restore normal alignment in the pelvis and grant baby more freedom to move and engage the cervix appropriately. The result is chiropractic helps pregnancy be more comfortable, helps birth be easier, and helps both parent and baby transition into their new life together more peacefully.
