Get your dog to chase you by calling your dog's name/attention, then running away as soon as your dog sees you.

On some hot and humid days, the last thing you want to do is take your dog for a walk. Then there are the countless dogs who can’t tolerate being out in the heat for long periods, like brachycephalic dogs (dogs who have very short muzzles). Can Hot Days Help Me Train My Dog?
Use hot days to help you train your dog to walk with slack in the leash. Since your dog is likely to walk more slowly on hot days, bring some cold cheese or hotdogs on your walk and reward your dog for walking with slack in the leash.
Your dog should be sniffing for about 80% of the walk. Use a longer leash and allow your dog to change speed without you having to change your walking speed.
Consider using a front clip harness to decrease your dog's pulling.
Don't forget to practice loose leash walking in your climate controlled home where you don't have the same distractions as outside!

Separation anxiety training has always been online, even pre-pandemic, because we need to observe your dog during these exercises without influencing your dog's behavior. We can't be there and your dog be home alone at the same time. :)
