Farm friends-
We still have 6 kunekune piglets available from our late summer litters!
2 barrows, 4 gilts. Purebred but unregistered.
I am highly motivated to not over-winter 6 extra pigs (even tho they are so dang cute) so if you’ve thought about adding/expanding pigs on your farm let’s chat.

It’s November, which for our animals means the start of pumpkin palooza!
Our extra pumpkins, and those so generously donated from the community become a feast for our pigs, chickens and pups!
We still have a few of our sweet summer piglets looking for their new home. ♥️

A big thank you to whoever left a few baskets full of apples at the top of the driveway!
I didn’t see a note, but I wanted the person to know they sure are appreciated by all the animals!!
We are always happy to take any unwanted or past perfect produce for the pigs and chickens, especially with pumpkin and apple season in full swing - they get a lot more use here than in the garbage!
Our last farmstand day of 2021.
A bittersweet day, and I’m feeling all the feels.
There’s a sadness. A disappointment that after a garden expansion, a beautiful new farmstand and all our hard work - the dramatic and devastating weather left us open only a handful of times.
A (probably obvious) much more prominent feeling of joy. A happiness that food we grew ended up on plates of others. Elation that we touched a few lives with our offer of farm fresh food, regardless if there was payment in exchange - and a gratitude for those who touched our lives too, with their kind words.
But mostly today I am feeling pride.
I am proud of my family for doing even the teeniest bit to overcome food insecurity in our community. Proud to be instilling these values to my children, who will hopefully fight this battle well into the future.
And proud to live in a community where so many want to do the same. ♥️
One last stand day for 2021!

Lifecycle of a sweet pea.
From seed, to fragrant bloom, to pod and back to seed. A perfect intro flower to seed saving for a beginner like myself. Can’t wait to see these beauties back at the farm again next year!
If you stop by the stand this weekend you’ll see some little sweet pea bouquets looking for a good home. 💐

100% better than zero pounds last year, even with the heatwave that quite literally melted a bunch a few weeks back.
This also doesn’t include the few pounds consumed by my helpers during our picking party. 😉
Quite a few of these scrumptious treats will be headed to the stand tomorrow and Sunday (11-7) so stop by if you’re out and about!

Had the honor of hosting the Miss Kitsap Fair & Stampede program at the farm this evening for their 2021 photos!
Such sweet, well spoken young ladies and a wonderful committee who do such a great job representing our county!
With the heat, we’ve decided to keep the stand empty this weekend. There’s just no way to keep the produce fresh and crisp for an extended period of time.
HOWEVER - if you’re looking for fresh lettuce, kale, carrots, radishes or duck eggs send us a message and we will package some up for you for porch pickup!
🚨 Update: Sold out. Stand will open again Friday

The GRAND OPENING of Scott Fam Farmstand 2.0 will be this Friday, June 4th at 11am. 🎉
Our fam is passionate about sharing what we can with the community so when we started growing our own food, we thought:
- How can we share this with people who may want farm fresh produce, but can’t grow it?
- How can we share this with people who may NEED farm fresh produce, but can’t afford it?
Enter, our by-donation farmstand!
To be doing this for a second year, with a much larger, more accessible stand - is a dream come true and has fed this wave of fulfillment we’ve been riding since last years amazing adventure.
Stay tuned for more info as the week progresses and we move the stand up to its spot at the road!
Packaging up tomorrow’s orders!
We have an abundance of the duck and goose variety, so if you are looking for some local e g g s from free range, organic fed, well loved waterfowl - let’s chat!
It has arrived! 🎉
Last year providing farm fresh goodies for the community in seriously uncertain times was an amazingly fulfilling adventure, and such an open door to meeting some awesome local people!
It lit such a fire in my soul, and for my birthday this year I asked my dear old dad to upgrade our little pallet stand to something bigger - more room for more farm fresh food for more people! Boy did he deliver. 😍
I can’t wait to have the stand up and running for you all soon!
Come as you are, take what you need, leave what you can - we all gotta eat. ♥️
Message to schedule a pickup 🥚
We are excited to be hosting Leo The Lion Photography for her Easter/Spring photo minis this month!
Come get some great photos, visit the animals and let’s celebrate Springtime together!
2 Saturday sessions still available, and a handful of Sunday availability. Please reach out via message to myself or Amber at Leo the Lion Photography for more information. 💐
A big surprise on the farm this morning!
GOOSE EGGS 🥚🥚
After a panicked search for our Pilgrim goose, Farrah, I found her laying on a nest under the house! (Yes under the house, thank goodness for small children to send under 😂)
This is her first laying season and I feel like a proud mom. These things are HUGE!
Comment or message for pickup.
And as always- if you need eggs and for whatever reason can’t afford them, reach out anyway.
Pay what you can, pay nothing, or pay it forward next time - we all gotta eat.
A snow day on the farm ❄️
Welcome to the farm fam Frankie! 🖤 🐽
🎉Farmstand Fundraiser🎉
As you know, spring/summer we host our by-donation farmstand for the community.
This is a venture we enjoy immensely and hope to keep by-donation. We are expanding quite a bit this year to provide more, and to be more accessible - and so the Farmstand Fundraiser is born!
I have created these 2.5-3 inch weather proof vinyl stickers of some of our farm friends!
If you feel so inclined to help us keep on doin what we are doin, shoot me a message with which sticker you’d like to purchase!
$4 each (shipped).
Thank you all for your continued support! ♥️
Oh the wonder of a color changing egg ✨
It’s a beautiful day for “working” in the garden. 😴
We expanded our produce garden by nearly 2000 square feet this year, and as we put in the work to make it happen I can’t help but get excited for the abundance we will get to share with the community at the farm stand this summer!
The sunshine is a welcome sight after last nights storm. 🌞
Hope you all stayed safe and are enjoying this break in the rain today!
