FULL TIME CHAIR FOR LEASE
My salon is a special place. My name is Jami MacIntyre. I have worked at my salon for twenty two and a half years. I started at my salon as a chair lease, and leased for 10 years. When the opportunity came about to have more ownership, I, and a couple other talented women, accepted! We teamed up and freshened up the old salon. That was 2011. Over time things change, coworkers retire, and now I run things solo. Today I am surrounded by an amazing team of women! I work with three ladies that have leased their chairs from me for about 5 years. They are beautiful, talented professionals that have been in the industry for many years like myself. Our little old house that has been converted into a salon, provides for us all in ways that money can’t buy. However, we are all in business to make money. The system in my salon supports that. Our recipe is simple. We only do hair, and quality is a requirement. At this time in our careers, some of us are now part time, which means it’s time to reconfigure and open up an opportunity for a new full time stylist to join us. If you are interested, please stop by and say hi at anytime! My salon is located in Old Town Silverdale. We have four stations that are spaced out comfortably. Four parking spaces for our business only. Our back room is comfortable for storage of supplies, and sitting down for lunch too. As a team we all contribute daily to maintaining the salons high standard for cleanliness and organization. Sweat equity is a major component of keeping our business costs down for all, and maintaining the salon presentation standard.
In my time at the salon, I have been blessed to work with some of Kitsap County’s most talented people. Because we have stylists with high standards, we have reliability as a result. As a whole, our client retention is high. Established clientele is one of the highest compliments a stylist can receive, and a compliment that simply never gets old. My gratitude for those that have supported my career along the way…. Clients past and present, and coworkers past and present…. Well, I’m just so grateful.
