JOIN US TOMORROW! On Wednesday, as part of Health & Fitness Week - we will be having a walk-to-school event at 7:30 a.m. Wear your Vista Spirit Wear and meet at 7:15am in the parking lot on the corner of Sycamore/Cochran (Walgreens, Beeps, DIY Home Center)
Note: This is not a drop-off event, parents/caregivers will need to participate and assist students in the walk to school.

Are You Looking for Great Kindergarten Programs?
This year, our Kindergarten Information Night events will be conducted virtually on Zoom. You do not need to have a Zoom account to participate, but you do need to have Internet access. You will need to register before the start of the event. Please carefully type or copy the link below into your Internet browser, enter your information and submit. A confirmation email will be immediately sent to you from “Jake Finch.” That email will have a link for the event. Then, at the date and time of the event, use the Zoom link to access the event. If you cannot join the events, we will have the video of the presentation available by January 14 on our website. Thank you.

Junior and Transitional Kindergarten (JK/TK) Information Night: Tuesday, January 11, 6 to 7 p.m.

AGE ELIGIBILITY UNDER CALIFORNIA LAW: Junior Kindergarten is open to children born in July or August 2017. Transitional Kindergarten is open to children born between September 2, 2017, and February 2, 2018.

Thank you to our amazing Vista community for the generous donations for our Toy Drive! A special shout out to the entire 6th grade team who collected and donated 26 Target $25 gift cards!

This holiday season, Vista will be working together with Community Action of Ventura County to brighten a less fortunate child’s holiday. If you are willing and able, please donate a new unwrapped toy/gift and bring a smile to a child this holiday season. From November 29-December 3, collection bins will be at the entrance gates each morning and the front entrance from 7:30-3:30.

This week our Fun Run Top Pledging Grade Classes and our Top 10 Pledging Students were recognized at grade level assemblies. Congratulations to all our recipients! This year was a huge success because our school came together and we had record participation school wide - thank you TEAM VISTA for your continued support! We couldn't have done it without the staff, teachers, students - and, of course, our Vista families and friends.
