What We Believe
We believe the Bible is the revealed word of God, inerrant in its original autographs, infallible, and is the authoritative and all-sufficient rule for faith and conduct. We believe God is one and has revealed Himself in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless
Thanks to your financial contributions Rebuilders purchased the brick, sand, mortar and paid for local national labor in Garagoa, Colombia for the walls of this church. The team from Beech Springs Church provided a medical clinic everyday of the trip and much needed construction labor. They also purchased electrical wiring and lighting. Mike and Naomi Lawrence have been the host for all of our numerous trips to Colombia. We were privileged to participate in a trio to Honduras. Rebuilders contributed to the project funds on the addition for Eduardo and the pastors house.
The picture of the young man hanging out of the window is of Eduardo. He is 21 years old and confined to the room he is in. His mother fell when she was pregnant and he was born mentally damaged. His room was 5’X8’ and only had a twin bed in it. The unpainted section is his new space. He will have a bathroom with shower and 8 times the room.
Second picture is of the pastors house we built. He can now bring his wife and child over from the mainland. Rebuilders paid for the roof framing and tin for Eduardo. Also paid for tile and water closets for both projects.
The third picture is of a swing set built for a school. Also put solar panels and lights in building (has no electricity) We partitioned the bathroom and installed water closets so the kids have a boys and girls bathroom. The teacher volunteers, no pay.
As you know Calvary Church is remodeling its new building. We don’t get a lot of chances to do a project in our back yard so this will be a special opportunity for us. Cory Kanagy and Jeremy Greer will each head up a team for framing help on Tuesday and Thursday evenings soon. If you could help them one of the nights or more please let us know. Thank you very much as always for being faithful to help out.
We were blessed to be able to work at Calvary Church. Removed two garage doors, filled openings with block and stuccoed inside and out. (seen in one of the stage work background) Worked on stage area. Great church. Thank you to all that helped.
Rebuilders International is trying to get a team together to help Calvary Church remodel its new building. Calvary Church new location is between Seneca and Westminster on 123 just past Blue Ridge Electric on the right. We have been asked to lay block in 2 openings that were garage doors. Target dates are the weekend of May 22-23 or May 29-30. If you can help please reply by posting to this message. Thank you.
Okay, we have a trip to Soldotna, Alaska leaving on Friday May 8 from Greenville Airport, and returning to Greenville on Sunday May 17. Our job task will be carpentry finishing work on a church we have been working on for awhile now from the ground up. This will consist of mostly setting interior doors, running baseboards, trimming windows, possibly some tile, or the carpet tiles, and whatever we can be of the most help with. A second project will be at the camp we will be staying in. If weather is good we will be painting the exterior of one of the buildings, if not there will be some odd and end things we can do. There is also a trailer house on the property that needs a new roof. This may become priority..
Trip cost is $1,600.00 this will pay for our plane ticket, food while at camp, lodging, project money, gas, train rides, and the half a day cruise. Each person will be responsible for their own eats while traveling, and of course any souvenirs or anything like that they may want. We need a deposit ASAP. We already have over half of the 15 available seats filled.
1) Friday May 8, leave Greenville at 8:32, arrive at Anchorage AK at 2:45PM. Get a good meal and a motel room.
2) Saturday,9th,leave Anchorage on a train at 6:45 to Seward AK. Half a day cruise to check out the sights of Alaska. Travel by Van to our destination of Soldotna, get settled in at the camp.
3) Sunday,10th, church with Trinity Christian Center, either a half a day to rest and sleep at camp, or a trip to Homer AK. This is the “end of the road” , this is also where Otto lives. We usually get a good meal, and check the harbor out.

5) Tuesday, 12, work
6) Wednesday,13, work, go to church with Soldotna Church Of God.
7) Thursday 14, work

The dates for the Alaska trip is April 24 - May 2, 2020. We’re still working on the return flight times. The trip as is to Soldotna, Ak. Leaving from Gsp.. We are working on reserving 15 airline tickets that will save on the trip cost. Call it an early bird special. If you are going a firm commitment will save you at least $300.00 dollars or maybe more. Please let us know ASAP.

We are going to Alaska at the end of April 2020. We will be most likely setting interior doors, trim, maybe some painting. We will also most likely be doing some handyman type stuff at another location. Paint, fix rotten boards, patch holes, things of that nature. If we have good weather, there may be some siding, or equipment that needs to be run. We will be staying in a dorm type facility, with a full kitchen at our disposal. We are taking 3 guys to cook and keep up with things there. 12-15 max people as it gets difficult and expensive to travel. Space is limited so I need people to commit and turn money in ($1500-$1800 based off of trips past) ASAP. We will be looking to book first of the year. Of course we will go over most of this at the meeting on November 6. This is different than the trips we’ve taken in the past with you guys. Weather is a huge factor and will dictate what we can do, how fast we can do, and what will be ready to do. (Cory Kanagy)
NOVEMBER 6,2019 INFORMATION MEETING DETAILS TO FOLLOW.
The following is a prayer request copied from and email from Guatemala.
Pablo Fisher, whom many of you have met and experienced his servant heart, is in the ICU in a hospital in Guatemala.
Pablo began on Monday with severe abdominal pain and went to the emergency room. After they made all the necessary exams, they came to the conclusion that he has Obstructive Pancreatitis due to gall bladder stones that are blocking the bile duct.
He had an ERCP done which should have removed the blockage, but the pain has continued and other complications have shown up like high blood pressure, fluid built up between the lungs and the chest, poor oxygen concentration, and tachycardia.
We are believing for a miracle, but we also believe what God’s Word says - that if two or three agree in anything we ask our Father, He will do it. That is the reason we are reaching out to you, that we can in one accord do urgent prayers for a total restoration of Pablo’s health.
Jeremy Burriss Greer Cory Kanagy Elmer Kanagy Wayne P Paris Daniel Graddy Christian Davidson Got this from Robin Burgess Paris Michael Lawrence should make this available on next trip.
Rebuilders International will be working on a home Missions project this week. We will be working at United Assembly of God in Seneca. The goal is to get “Main Street” looking good. Work actually got under way on Saturday. Cory Kanagy with some help got a lot of the bank under brush cut and sprayed w**d killer. Robbie is delivering mulch on Tuesday. Larry will be bush hogging Thursday or Friday weather permitting. Grass cutting, planting 4 cypress, mulch spreading... still needs someone to handle. Cienega snap shots.
14 years and the last classroom on 3rd floor is under roof. Thanks Pastor Bill, UAG, BOB, Rebuilders International and all the volunteers who invested time and money in this school. Cienega will for ever be changed. The name Of Jesus be lifted high. Missionaries Mike and Naomi Lawrence continue doing what God called them to do. We are proud to have done our part.
Airline tickets have been purchased and the trip is just over 2 weeks away. It is time for you to send any money for trip expense not yet paid. The materials we need to complete the classroom cost between $4,500.00-$5,000.00. Materials are not covered by the trip money. Referred to as “Project Money” the money to pay for materials is contributed by individuals wishing to help us have something to do once we get there. Any help meeting this need will be greatly appreciated.
Rebuilders International Spring trip is going to be March 23-30. We will be returning to Ciénaga in Colombia, SA. The trip cost at this point is $1,800 - $2,000 depending on final airfare. We need a deposit $800.00 mailed in as soon as possible to reserve your space. As always send your name as it appears on your passport, date of birth and passport number.
At this point there has been interest from several ladies wanting to go. We will be working at the Latin American Child Care school so teachers can easily find a mission. There are medical opportunities available. The construction project will be to complete the last classroom on the 3rd floor. There will also be some maintenance issues we can help with. (Tim Ely probably needs to work on the gas stove again by now.)
We will be hosted by Missionaries Mike And Naomi Lawrence. Mike and Naomi always does a great job taking care of of us.
