Jody's Bait Shop at the upper end of the lake will open at 5am Saturday for those needing bait.

We had our 5th Tournament of the year on Lake Hartwell 4/13/24 . We had a Total of 40 people, 17 Boats and 1 Guest. Thank you to everyone that participated. Congratulations to all the Winners!

Lake Murray Tournament Information:
Kevin said that he has plenty of River Herring and some nice Gizzard Shad. He also has plenty of Herring that would be good for bottom fishing but some might not do well for pulling boards.
It is again with great sadness I have to share the passing of another life time member of the Striper Kings Club. Vern Peterson passed away January 12th during a surgical procedure. He was a great friend to everyone, a talented fisherman and a devoted Striper Kings member. Please keep his family in your thought and prayer’s.

He was a devoted member of Roper Mountain Baptist Church and member of the Men Sunday School Class. In his younger days he enjoyed....
It is with a sad heart, I share the funeral arrangements for a long time member of the Striper Kings. He was the treasurer of the club for many many years. He will be greatly missed.

Palmetto Angler will be open at 5am Saturday. We have over 110 dz small trout, 120dz large shiners by morning and about 75 gizzard shad available. Come see me in the morning!!!
Sid Robb said the Herring Hut will be open at 5am Saturday for the tournament.
We had our 1st Tournament of the year on 1/2/24 at Lake Murray. We had a Total of 51 people, 18 Boats and 5 Lady Anglers. Thank you to everyone that participated. We will have our next Tournament on 2/17/24 on Clarks Hill. This will also be an open tournament, meaning you do not have to be a member to fish the tournament.Please get signed up and come have a great time with us! Lake Hartwell Outdoor Center announces there December Open Striper Tournament, just in time to prepare for the upcoming SBC Hartwell Tournament.
Just a reminder, since we had to change location for the Christmas party tomorrow night, we will have to order off the menu at Carolina Fine Foods instead of bringing in dishes from home. Don't forget your wrapped gifts for the raffle.

Jim Burg says that the Palmetto Angler in McCormick will be open at 4:00am Saturday morning!
Just wanted to remind everyone that the SK bylaws were changed last year so that the August meeting is held on the 2nd Tuesday, so no meeting Tomorrow night. So next Tuesday 8/08/23, we will celebrate the LVC Championship qualifiers. Hope to see you there!
