District 28 School Board candidates sound off
On November 8th a nonpartisan Greenville County school board election will be held along with state and national races. We have chosen to highlight district 28 because most of our constituents live and work in this area. District 28 covers most of Fountain Inn, some of Simpsonville and also areas in Mauldin. The incumbent, Lisa Wells, decided not to file for this seat leaving 3 new candidates opting for this position.
The candidates for District 28 school board are Britney Hilbert, Jeff Cochran and Steven Watterson.
We chose five questions for these candidates to consider. Below are the responses to the questions from those candidates.
Editor's Note: We chose not to limit the word count to allow candidates freedom to respond in their own way......
See Jeff Cochran's responses here.
Editor's Note: through a clerical error, the published, printed edition of The Simpsonville Sentinel had incorrect information for Jeff Cochran. The responses here are what should have been published.
