Emily's Rock Garden
Emily's Rock Garden is not just a business, it is love, hope, and support. At the age of 4, Emily was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Emily's Rock Garden was started by her grandmother after realizing they had developed a special bond while decorating rocks and that this may be a way to help other children. They decided to start selling the rocks to raise money for therapeutic horseback riding in order to sponsor Emily and other children with special needs. In South Carolina, 1 in 55 children are diagnosed. Many may not realize,
Emily has grown into a beautiful and loving young lady so proud of her❤️

As many of you know my granddaughter Emily has high functioning Autism. Emily's Rock Garden was started over 10 years ago to help Emily and other family's with children on the spectrum. Many families I help sometimes prefer to keep it private. Which is a individual choice. At the time I chose to go public and help as many as we could. I have never been embarrassed of Emily. Yes she had her days but I felt heart broken for her not ashamed. It was just wishing we could help but couldn't. I wouldn't change a thing Emily has become a wonderful young lady and plans on studying to become a therapist for children with special needs. What bothers me now that she is older is that she is still picked on and called names. These children may have Autism but remember that have feelings to and it hurts them more then you will ever know. So it breaks my heart to hear this town be torn apart. Many of you that have posted negative things about the situation are my customers, that I have grown to care about through the years. Please can we come together to bring something positive out of a horrific situation. If I could put an Air tag or tile on every child with special needs that is a runner I would. ❤💔
Today was a very emotional and heart breaking. You all know what Autism means to me and my family. And when we heard that a 8 year Autistic had run away from Bells Crossing today we decided to help in the search. Both my grandchildren went to Bells Crossing, without hesitation my daughter Nikki had already been out searching. We live close to the school and I decided to help. We looked for hours and spent a lot of time searching at Lennox Lake.
We happened to be at Lennox Lake when poor little Lionel Ramierz was found in the very place we had been looking.
My heart goes out to the family and to Bells Crossing and to all the people that spent the day helping in the search.
I have read my statements on Facebook tonight that broke my heart and also angered me. I personally know Mr. Ross the principal at Bells Crossing. He would do anything for these children. He truly cares about each and everyone of them. He helped us with Emily when she attended Bells. Some children with Autism can be runners and when they run it is very hard to catch them. So please know that I'm sure that the school did everything they could do. And I can tell you from what I witnessed today from the public, police and K-9 everyone tried very hard to bring Lionel home. ❤️
Looking for a last minute Mother’s Day gift I have some bags that are 1/2 price today only $10.00.
Here are a few that I have will try and post more later today.
I wanted to say it was wonderful to see many new faces at this years Italian Festival this past weekend in Fountain Inn. I have a question to ask I am looking for a store that I might be interested to display and sell what I make. It is getting harder to be able to do the shows. I think I should have picked a lighter hobby! I keep thinking of retiring but my heart so no. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. ❤️
Looking forward to the 3rd Annual Italian Festival this Saturday in Fountain Inn from12-6. Here are a few things I will have this weekend ❤️

Have been very busy painting for the Italian festival April 27th. Here’s just a few pictures of things I’ve been working on. And some of the rocks that I’ve painted a few on are quite large the biggest I’ve done in a long time trying to use up some rocks that I had at home so if you’re looking for a big Ohio State or big Clemson, I’ll have a few of them. .
Will be donating all my extra paint to Mauldin Middle school art teacher,Mrs. Jeffers. ❤️
I'm starting to paint for the Italian Festival in Fountain Inn that will be held on April 27th. Looking for schools for teams that I could paint. Any ideas would be great!!❤️
