Shari is one of our amazing dental hygienists. She has been with our team for 5 years. She is married to her sweetheart of 44 years in October and has 4 children and 9 grandchildren with one more on the way!

Shari is a lover of all things beach related! In her spare time, she enjoys creating art with stained glass and resin. You can find her art work featured in Boro Girl, a boutique in Swansboro, NC near where she grew up. ✌🦷❤

Meet Pia!

Pia is Dr. Boudreaux’s assistant and has been with SDA since 2013. She grew up in Canada and moved to the upstate in 2012. She has been in the dental field for almost 20 years! 🦷🤩

Pia spends her weekends at the basketball court with her son, Deux, and her daughters Natalie and Naomi. Say Hi to her next time you come in!

Get to know Dr. Shawn Boudreaux!

Dr. Boudreaux was born and raised near Lafayette, LA.

He initially thought he wanted to go into engineering because of his love for science and all things technical. But he felt like something was missing: he wanted to help people.

As a young adult, Dr. Boudreaux faced many unique dental experiences, such as braces at 20-years-old and jaw pain at 23-years-old. He always found people in the dental field to be compassionate and life-changing, and soon realized this was his calling.

Dr. Boudreaux’s journey to becoming a dentist included a DDS from LSU School of Dentistry and a one-year residency at New York University. He gained skills in implant dentistry and oral surgery and certification in dental implants and IV sedation.

After searching the country for a better place to live and practice dentistry, Dr. Boudreaux and his family moved to Greenville, SC.

Outside the office, you’ll find Dr. Boudreaux with his wife, Brooke, and their three children; a son, Elijah, and twin daughters, Amelie and Emery. He also enjoys playing soccer, basketball, football, hiking, camping, fishing, and reading classic fiction and nonfiction literature.

Get to know Dr. Brooks Godwin!

Dr. Godwin grew up on the creeks and beaches of Charleston, SC.

His love for science and technology helped forge his way through degrees in chemistry and biology from the College of Charleston. He then went on to receive a degree in dentistry from the Medical University of South Carolina.

In 1998, he moved to the upstate and began practicing dentistry in Simpsonville, SC.

Over the years, dentistry has become a marvelous avenue to continue his educational endeavors. He has gained hundreds of hours of continuing education on an annual basis.

Dr. Godwin believes that having a strong foundation of knowledge and experience allows him to provide you with more options, in turn, creating better results.

He focuses on making you feel at home when you come for your dental visits and works hard to give you the attention you deserve.

Dr. Godwin professes the friendships he’s built with patients and their families are one in a million. Helping so many wonderful people in our community is undoubtedly the best part of his job.

It also helps that his wife, Andi, shares the same passion for dentistry and quality patient care. She is an excellent asset to our dental team.

Outside the office, you’ll find Dr. Godwin spending time with Andi and their five children, who all have many interests ranging from sports, school, and church. He also enjoys wakeboarding on the lake, mountain biking with friends, soccer, golf, and photography.

Ashley is one of our dental hygienists! Ashley served in the Air Force for 4 years prior to obtaining her degree in dental hygiene from Greenville Tech in 2012. She has been with our office for almost 12 years! 🤩 In her spare time, she enjoys lifting weights and spending time with her daughter, Sydney, and her husband, John!

Andi is one of our dental assistants and has over 18 years of assisting experience. She grew up in Missouri and moved to SC in 2008. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the lake, camping, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their kids. Andi is an expert in the kitchen and truly enjoys cooking!
