Today is The Inaugural Beulah Woodard Memorial Bluegill Fishing Tournament at the Pond at the Gathering Place. The kids are so excited. They want their name on the plaque for catching the largest by weight. Other prizes will be awarded. The big kids get to try also. Updates will be made as soon as available. Sitting on front porch rocking, waiting on the rain, listening to the birds, and admiring our day of work while waiting on a grilled steak/ baked potato.

Our Christmas in the Country is becoming a tradition. We managed to squeeze in a Williams Gathering with everyone’s busy schedule complete with Cliff’s Famous Chili. The old truck was decorated, the porch in vintage colored lights and Audrey and Kinley decorated the tree and Audrey’s bedroom. Now comes Christmas Eve and a short trip to Baton Rouge.
