Raku is both peaceful and exciting to me. It allows me to immerse myself into the whole process . Methodically moving from one step to the next seamlessly when everything is lined up perfectly and in place.

These are pieces from a recent high school that came over for a workshop. They had to leave before the kiln got to temp so it was all left to me to tend by myself.

No need to feel bad for them, they enjoyed 3 kiln fires.
