I have done so many gorgeous colors lately I had a hard time choosing which one to post today. This one was so fun and her reaction was even better. The best part about my job is seeing my clients glow when they walk out feeling so beautiful.

Yesterday we traveled to Sioux City Iowa SCHEELS to honor the next SCHEELS hometown hero, Grace Stolen!

Grace joined the Iowa air guard in 2007 as an intel specialist and in 2010 transferred to the civil engineering squadron where she currently serves today. Grace has had multiple deployments to Moldova, United Arab Emirates, Guam, Puerto Rico and Hawaii to name a few.

Grace has been involved in the sexual assault prevention and response program for the past 12 years as a traditional guardsmen. Recently she took a full time roll as a victim advocate for the western region of Iowa.

Grace also volunteers her time to the community as a board member and volunteer for Support Siouxland Soldiers. Here Grace has helped ship care packages to deployed soldiers and manage a free food pantry exclusively for Veterans and their families along with creating social events that bring Veterans together.

One of my favorite colors we have done, and we have done a lot of different colors 👌

Side note- I found a new app to blur the background in my pictures and i think it may be life changing for me 😂 I do this so that the hair is the focal point & if I’m being honest here, any messes I made while creating my masterpieces aren’t as noticeable 🫣 if you know you know.

Let’s talk damage.

First and foremost we need to get to the root of the cause. Is it over-processed, heat damage, misuse of product, wrong products for your hair type, build up that is either an environmental cause or from products, are you incorrectly washing your hair, the list honestly goes on. But it’s SO important to figure out WHY you’re having damage and/or breakage in order to resolve the issue. Nope it’s not just as simple as slapping a weekly mask on. So once we have the cause down let’s come up with a plan. This includes visits at the salon, product usage, vitamin recommendation, water intake, even down to what type of pillow case you’re using & more. I am ✨detailed✨ with my recommendations. Okay so now here is the kicker, you have to follow through. It’s ESSENTIAL for you to follow the plan of action to see results. The last but definitely not least important thing to have is patience. Damage repair is not an overnight fix 99% of the time. You’ll thank me in a year (more or less) when you have stronger, longer, thicker and shinier hair + your hair is actually the color you want. Trust me 😘

This “before and after” is taken about a year or so apart. Her hair was severely damaged, I wish I had a picture from the front because it was an accidental mullet for sure. The good news is we are on track to her goal of long HEALTHY blonde hair 🙌

It’s been an entire year since I posted 🫣 oh my where does time go? Lots new and still more to come. Let’s start off with the name change 👇 I have been going back and forth for years now on a different name for my business/ socials but man “passion by Paige” holds a special place in my heart! It’s just a name- I know, but it was my LIFE for years. From 18-27 years old I ate slept and dreamed hair (literally). 2 babies changed that fiery passion but that doesn’t mean I don’t still LOVE what I do 🫶

So what’s changing other than the name?

•Vivid/fashion color appointments will be very limited. Pre- consultation required. I love the bold babes but I’m in my ✨natural colors & lived in✨ era behind the chair.

Now -publicly- specializing in damage restoration. It’s been my thing for a few years now and have gained tons of new guests in my chair from it but I will now be posting on it.
