Sandy's Custom Workroom
We have an upholstery and drapery workroom with an extensive fabric showroom.
It is with much sadness that I share with you the loss of a valuable member of our team.
My father passed away early Sunday morning at the age of 91. Erv came into the workroom at least twice a week for the last 5 years to strip fabric off furniture.
He came to work every time wearing his much loved uniform. It was a red embroidered sweatshirt we had made for him that said…
Erv
Head Stripper
Sandys Custom Workroom.
Dad loved the reaction he would get from people that would read his sweatshirt .
He will be terrible missed.
I’m going to input a photo dump of projects since the last post. Some have before and afters!
Let us know if you would like to see more before and afters!
Some recent projects.
When does matching matter?
ALWAYS
We have added two talented individuals, Carlos and Giovanni, to our team, and they have been a valuable addition for the past month. The Workroom is a very busy place these days.
These are some drapery treatments we’ve been working on lately. Some gorgeous fabrics, and beautiful trims.
Some of our latest projects. Fun and colorful .
And then there are drapery!
A lot has been going in and out of the work room. Again, we want to thank everyone for their patience. Here’s a little preview.
Please contact us by email address above with questions or requests for project estimates.

All 3 chairs are exactly alike and were in at the same time. Two different client and 2 completely different looks!
I found this on a page the other day. I thank God for Zac. He has all these qualities! He truly was a God Send! I have two amazing people that I work with. If this sounds like someone you know, send that person our way.
We received two acts of kindness this week. First one from Simply Perfect bringing us a treat of their signature fragrances. Both hand soap, and lotion. Number eight is my personal favorite.
Then later in the week we received not one but two beautiful bouquets of flowers from a client that we did the fancy pillows for.
So often furniture and drapery treatments go out of the work room and we never get to see it in someone’s home or hear how they liked their newly recovered furniture or window treatments. I invite anyone to share pictures or comments on our page. We’d love for you to share.
Pillows, pillows and more pillows!
I don’t want anyone thinking that Courtney hasn’t been busy too! This is just a sampling of what we’re doing . Thanks for everyone’s patience and I apologize if we’ve forgotten anyone along the way.
We are trying to catch up but as fast as we get pieces out two more get put in the line up. Thanks for your patience.
I am so grateful for these two.
Zac and Courtney, thank you for holding down the fort while I’m away. And let’s not forget Erv. If not for him, we would all be overwhelmed. Thanks dad!
Lots of new pictures to share.
Projects from the past. When it was just me! Some, before and afters.
I can tell you, I don’t miss those days. I’m so blessed to have Zac and Courtney now!
