I almost missed the cutoff for “National Siblings Day” & “National Hug Your Dog Day”. I’m so thankful for my two older brothers, and the fact that they inspired me to join the SD Army National Guard 15 years ago 😱 (dang, we’re old). It has been a blessing to serve along with the two of you, and I love you both very much. As for “Hug Your Dog Day,” I definitely take advantage of that everyday 🤣. Hero, you are the best pup to have in this life, and I’m glad today was a reason for more hugs! 💙🐶✌🏻🇺🇸

I am so excited to announce the newest enlistment into the South Dakota Army National Guard, PVT Dylon Luckhurst. Him and I met about a year ago and he has been so eager to join. Well the time has finally come, and he was the last applicant to join of 2022 into our organization!
Dylon enlisted into the 153rd Forward Support Company out of Huron, as a wheeled vehicle mechanic. He will get to drill with his dad, and both are super stoked.
I am so proud of this young man, and am super confident in his future endeavors.
