Here are a few highlights of our newest items added.

River Valley Glassworks (1-5 Players, 25-45 min): If you are a fan of Azul, then you will probably love this. Beautiful pieces and quick engaging gameplay make this one a winner!

Adventure Party The Role Playing Party Game (3-8 Players, 30-60 min): In this party game, players will take turns rolling their 20-sided die in secret. Based on how well or poorly they rolled, they will describe what their character does; first outlining their plans and then describing the outcome of their actions with the hopes that the GM can guess the number they rolled. While not a full-fledged RPG, this game will appeal to anyone who enjoys or is interested in roleplaying games.

Endangered (1-5 players, 60-90 min): If you are looking for a new cooperative game, Endangered is a great option. Each turn players will use dice to work towards completing the specific goals of UN Ambassadors. Each animal scenario plays completely differently as well!

Cities (2-4 players, 30-40 min): If you are looking for a quick and easy to learn city building game, check this one out. This one is great to play with the family or whenever you are looking for a quick puzzly game.

Star Realms Academy (2 players, 20 min): If you are looking for a first deck-builder for kids or people new to the hobby, then this is one you may want to check out. This simplified version of the classic Star Realms is still quick and engaging while requiring less math and no reading.

Let's Hit Each Other with Fake Swords (3-6 players, 15 min): In this game from Exploding Kittens, players engage in duels with foam swords to win sets of cards. What more do you need to know?

Cacadia Rolling Hills and Rolling Rivers are puzzly flip-and-roll-and-write games featuring the habitats and wildlife of the Pacific Northwest that can be combined together to play up to 8 players. In Trail Story: America, you travel to new locations, collecting stories and constructing havens along the way.

Black Mold is a survival horror game with a unique twist. Players must limit their exposure to the mold and make their escape which is simulated in the game by limiting the length of your turn to how long you're able to physically hold your breath.

Dumb Questions To Ask Your Friends is your next favorite party game. A quiz in reverse. Hear everyone’s answer, then guess the question

In Zoomies, you're a dog walker helping your pups at the park make friends, collect bones, become the leader of the pack, and get the zoomies. Each turn, place a domino-style tile in the playing area, then place a scoring token on it.

Café Baras is a card drafting, tableau-building that plays 2-4 baristas in about 30 minutes. Each turn, you play a card from your hand, either buying it as a food, drink, or decor item for your café or serving the customer on the card and earning money.
Star Realms Academy is a simplified version of the spaceship combat deck-building game Star Realms that is perfect for introducing others to deck building games.

In Charcuterie, players take turns drafting delectable food tiles and arranging them on your board, but carefully consider your placements as you will be judged on your final presentation!

Survive The Island is a cutthroat game in which players seek to evacuate their adventurers — especially those of a high value — from a sinking island to maximize their score.

It's a big inventory week so let's get right to it.

We have some new products fresh from Red Raven Games. In Creature Caravan (Deluxe Edition), players build a card tableau of creatures while traveling through a magnificent and dangerous land. The core book for the World of Azrium RPG is here as well. This 200+ page hardcover book is filled with everything you need to enter into this fantastic world seen in many Red Raven Games. We also have Islebound: Emerald Edition, a special edition of the game with some altered components and rules.

In addition to these new games, we have a restock of some classic Red Raven Games including Near and Far, Above and Below, and Roam.

The Last Caravan is a cars and aliens tabletop roleplaying game for 2-6 players about a midwinter road trip in the wake of an alien invasion. We also finally got a restock of The Wildsea, a post-fall fantasy tabletop roleplaying game set in a rampant ocean of verdant green.

From Brotherwise Games, we have Adulthood in which players will choose a career, seek out experiences, find a partner, and more! Happy Home is a new quick playing polyomino game where players fill their house with furniture in hopes to have the most creative home.

Nocturne is the newest game from Flatout Games (Calico, Cascadia). You play as a fox mystic casting magic spells to collect an assortment of enchanted items in this puzzly spatial bidding and set collection game. Cities is a city-building game in which you draft the best projects and arrange them in your own playing area.

In Rock Hard 1977, players will live out their rock star dreams in this immersive worker placement game. If combat-focused games are more your thing, check out Nexus Ops. In this new edition of the classic Hasbro game, payers control competing futuristic corporations that battle each other for control of the moon's Rubium Ore.

Fresh from crowdfunding is the first game from Rose Gauntlet, Wild Gardens. Designed by Isaac Vega (Dead of Winter, Forgotten Waters, Ashes Reborn), this cozy 1-4 player game is all about foraging and cooking. We have full blinged out bundles available as well as a few base game copies of this gorgeous engine building game.

In Wilmot's Warehouse, your team will work co-operatively to organize the warehouse, using memory, imagination, and silly stories you make up. This game has been receiving fantastic reviews and boasts being a memory game that anyone can play. Wilmot's Warehouse is for 2-6 players and can play in about 30 minutes.

If you are a Uwe Rosenberg fan (like me!) then you have to check out Nusfjord Big Box. The big box contains the base game, two previously released expansions, and two new expansions along with extra components. This classic worker placement game is for 1-5 players and plays in about 20 minutes per player.

We have had several requests to carry Skyjo and we now have it in stock! Skyjo is a family style set collection game for 2-8 players. See what all the buzz is about by checking this one out!

In Yaxha, you’re competing to build the most beautiful Mayan temple amongst all the players. Try to get the best sets of stones from the markets and place them in the best way to win the game. Yaxha is for 2-4 players and plays in about 20-30 minutes.

Happy Saturday! We are back with a bonus inventory post.

First up is the Heroscape: Age of Annihilation Master Set. This giant box contains minis, a ton of terrain pieces, dice, and everything 2 players need to play through 9 scenarios of head to head battling goodness. It is also compatible with all previous and upcoming Heroscape content.

1212: Navas de Tolosa is a small tactical wargame for 2 players that plays in about 45 minutes. This historical game is highly asymmetrical and even features different win conditions for each side.

Dums of War Enclave is a 1-2 player tactical game that takes about 30 minutes to play. Cards are deployed on the battlefield as players attempt to defeat each other in this head to head battling game.

Forges of Ravenshire is a dice placement game for 1-4 players that takes 50-100 minutes to play. Over 4 rounds, players will roll their dice workers and attempt to become the new Forgemaster of Raveshire.

Happy Friday! We usually post our new inventory on Saturday but we were too excited to get some of these new releases out so they are all available for you today!

Foundations of Metropolis is the retheming of the massively popular Foundations of Rome. If you have wanted to play Foundation of Rome but were intimidated by the price or the size, this is the perfect way for you to experience the same great gameplay.

We also have the brand new reprint of Yokohama from Synapses Games. With updated graphic design and artwork, this fantastic euro game is as good as ever.

Landmarks is a word game of hidden paths and clever clues. Create chains of one word clues to lead your team down the correct path and win the game! Landmarks can play from 2-10 players and should appeal to fans of games like Codenames and So Clover.

Confusing Lands is a microgame for 1 to 2 players in which each player creates their own wacky floating landscape. With a playtime of 10 minutes, Confusing Lands is the perfect to take anywhere and play whenever you have a bit of downtime.

Power Hungry Pets is a reimaging of Love Letter by Exploding Kittens. Some new cards are introduced, but that classic Love Letter gameplay is still intact. If you have never played Love Letter, then this is the perfect time to try out this fantastic card game for 2-6 players.

Exit: Prison Break is the newest Exit game but this time there is a twist. Players are divided into two teams that will simultaneously attempt to escape from prison.

Ticket to Ride Iberia & South Korea is the 8th map pack released in this series. Each of these 2 maps introduces new mechanics to explore.

Star Wars The Deck Building Game: Clone Wars edition is here! This game can be played by itself or combined with the original edition of the Star Wars Deck Building game. We did not get a ton of copies but don't fret if its already sold old. We are planning to get more next week so go ahead and special order it so you can secure a copy!

Also make sure to check out Acererak Treasure: Crystal Edition before it fades away. This is probably our last restock of it but don't worry the next set (Gold Edition) should be out in October!

To start off the new inventory this week we have restocked our loose minis with the Icon of the Realms 50th Anniversary minis! These prepainted miniatures feature classic creatures and characters in both their 1E and 5E incarnations. Come see if you can fine your favorite!

Marvel Multiverse RPG: X-Men is the latest sourcebook for popular roleplaying game. This book contains new traits, powers, plot hooks, and new mutant character profiles. It even includes information on how to integrate Days of Future Past, Old Man Logan's Future, The Danger Room, and other iconic X-Men themes into your Marvel Multiverse games.

Robo Rally Transformers takes the classic Robo Rally gameplay and shifts it into a brand new game. Your Transformers can switch from Bot Mode to Alt Mode as you race through a new Cybertronian city setting. Robo Rally Transformers also includes new elements like Buildings, High Speed Roads, Moving Walkways, Bombs, and Jump Ramps. It even includes 6 Transformers miniatures!

Finders Creepers is a family weight pick up and deliver game that uses Augmented Reality to enhance the experience. Using the app on your device, players will scan the house to search for monsters in hopes of catching them in the game.

Pagan: Fate of Roanoke is an expandable deduction card game set in the colonial America. This asymmetrical 2-player has several content releases announced already so if you are a fan of other LCG style games, this one is worth checking out.

Ballot Battle is a 2 player black jack inspired card game. This 30 minute game is all about winning campaigns and carefully managing controversy.

Marvel United: Multiverse is the newest core box in this fantastic line of cooperative games. Including characters like Captain Carter, Loki, Ironheart, and Cosmic Ghost Rider, this game is perfect for new or returning fans of Marvel United.

House of Cats is a quick playing roll and write game all about filling your house with cats and mice.

River Valley Glassworks is a 1-5 player cozy yet clever game from Allplay. Take glass from the market of river tiles and strategically place it on your player board to score the most points.

In Jewels for the Emperor Penguin, 2-5 players will use their penguins to collect gems and impress the Emperor.

Dungeon Kart is a brand new racing game set in the world of Boss Monster and inspired by games like Mario Kart.

Gnome Hollow is a tile-placement, worker-placement game in which you grow a garden of mushrooms and flowers.

Happy Saturday! Today is our monthly RPG day at Game Chest so let's start off with some new RPG products!

Dragon Stew is a massive supplement for your RPG adventures. Several different rulesets are included in the book like Cooking Classes, Dessert Familiars, Cooking Rules, and an adventure that ties them all together.

Brindlewood Bay is a cozy murder mystery game where players are elderly women who help authorities solve cases. Throughout their investigations, they become aware of a dark occult conspiracy that connects the cases, and will eventually have to face that conspiracy. The game is low-prep and easy to play no matter your experience with tabletop roleplaying games.

Two Rooms and A Boom is one of my all time favorite large group social deduction games and I am so glad it is finally back in print. Two groups in two different rooms play through timed rounds that end with swapping players between the rooms. Can you swap the right players so that your team wins?

Let's Hit Each Other with Fake Swords is the newest interactive party game from Exploding Kittens. Collect sets of cards and engage in wild sword fights with your friends, what more do you need to know?

Pirates of Maracaibo is a new standalone game from Capstone Games. The game plays over three rounds in which you sail the Caribbean, hire crew, explore the shore, and hope to amass the most treasure.

Star Wars Villainous: Revenge at Last is a standalone game for 2 players or can be added with your other Star Wars Villainous sets. Revenge at Last adds Darth Maul and Captain Phasma to the growing roster of characters.

Seers Catalog is an almost-shedding card game in which each player tries to get rid of almost all of the cards in their hand. This is all set within a unique catalog shopping theme.

Gateway Island is just the game you need to introduce friends to board gaming. It features 21 different games and a variety of game mechanics including drafting, worker placement, bluffing, dungeon crawlers, and much more!

We also have fun new travel games including Color Addict and new playing card decks!

Happy Saturday! We hope all of you have had a fantastic end to July. We have some great games this week so let's jump right in.

First up is one of my favorite games from ACD Games Day. Compile is a head-to-head 2-player game where players compete to control lanes. However, there are a few twists to this game formula, including a deck-building element where each player chooses 3 of 12 different themed protocols to create their deck for that game. We also have the first expansion and the absolutely gorgeous playmat.

Co-op game time! Invincible: The Hero Building Game is the one of the newest games from Dire Wolf. Invincible combines bag building and tableau building to create a unique cooperative game experience based upon the first season of the Invincible TV show.
Horrified: World of Monsters is the newest standalone game in the Horrified series. This time you will face off against the Sphinx, Yeti, Jiangshi, and Cthulhu. It also includes rules for mixing and matching with the recent Horrified: Greek Monsters.
Chronicles of Light: Darkness Falls is a brand new cooperative game from Ravensburger. Play as one of four Disney and Pixar heroines each with their own unique special abilities and quests. Work together as a team to restore the realm of the light in this family weight cooperative game.
Minecraft Explorers is a small box cooperative game from Matthew Dunstan, the designer of Guild of Merchant Explorers and Elysium. Work together with other players to explore the world and uncover the treasures you need to win in this 30 minute game.

Dungeons and Dragons: Bedlam in Neverwinter is a new escape room style game for 2-6 players. This adventure can be played in three 90-minute game sessions and is a combination of D&D fun and escape room puzzles. It even includes minis and dice!

Finally, we have a few limited Kickstarter bundles of the latest Epic Spell Wars crowdfunding campaign. These bundles include 2 full games, sleeves, and a playmat! Check them out while we still have them in stock.

Well, the City of SF has activated their lair action: CONSTRUCTION!

Scheduled to begin TODAY, July 26th, the City of Sioux Falls will be completing construction on the sidewalk in front of the store. This project is planned to take 4 weeks to complete. Meaning, parking will not be available in front of the store during this time, and you will need to make a dexterity saving throw to get here.

However, as a level 7 bard, Game Chest is here to bless you with a d8 of INSPIRATION! Right behind the Southway building is additional parking and another entrance to our store. This will be a perfect place to park for the duration of the construction spell.

We have included a map to give you some specific details if you are not familiar with the back parking lot.

Happy Saturday! We are back with several great new products this week.

First up is the brand new Crystal Edition of Acerak's Treasure. Each pack comes with an ability coin, a dice game, and a 7 piece dice set. There are 78 different possible sets and the rarest ones are stone or glass sets. We also have the brand new Mystic Mine dice sets.

Deadpool Roleplays the Marvel Universe is the newest one shot adventure for the Marvel RPG. We also have the Deck of Many Insults, which is a product I'm sure Deadpool would approve of.

Funky Fungi is a set collection game with a fun mushroom theme and artwork. That's Not A Hat Pop Culture is a new edition of the fantastic That's Not A Hat. Featuring a few new special cards and great new artwork, this version is great for new and old fans.

We also some new to us games and brand new expansion. Knightmare Chess is a great way to mix up your typical Ches game. Add in these cards and watch game transform into something new. Planet Unknown is one of my favorite Polyomino games and is a must play in my opinion. Villainous: Sugar and Spite adds King Candy and Shere Khan to your Villainous games.

Pokemon has released their annual school-themed packs with pencil holders, lunchboxes, and erasers. We love stocking these adorable products each year.

Finally is one product I have been very excited about. However, the magic in these tomes is so powerful that even my camera could not capture all of its splendor. Tales of the Valiant is the new TTRPG from Kobold Press that has been generating quite a bit of buzz.
