Once again, we are very appreciative of Amy Stockberger Real Estate for giving us their space to use for our meetings. We definitely recommend checking them out!
We had a wonderful meeting tonight!
Mark received the award for Best Table Topics Speaker, Allen received Best Evaluator, and Gideon received Best prepared Speech.
Well done everyone!
Last evening's meeting was absolutely incredible! All three of our speakers knocked it out of the park, yet it was Lisa Nolen who clinched the winning vote. She also won the award for the best Table Topics, while Austin den Hoed won the award for best evaluator.
Another meeting is in the books! However, we had a bit of a change in scenery this time!
Zak Okuwe took home the award this evening for the best Table Topics speaker. Unfortunately, none of the prepared speakers or evaluators landed within the allotted time and were therefore ineligible for voting. Congratulations Zak!

Let's hear it for tonight's meeting winners! Lisa was voted tonight's best evaluator and Kiley was tonight's best speech. Congratulations to both of you!
Here ye Here ye 3 cheers for our very own Matt Lantzer for exercising his bravery and confidence as competitor this weekend represent club 210 in both Area and District Competition places 2nd place.
Since joining the club over 3 years ago he has demonstrated a natural nac for humor but had other areas for improvement that this week his growth and development really shined through as it pertained to use of floor, vocal variety and nonverbal cues and communication.
We know that completion is nerve racking and public speaking is a fear for most, but look at the results of what a safe place for communication practice can do for the average Joe; and in this case an average Matt.
Sooooooo proud of you Matt!! Way to Represent!!
Prepared evaluations is how we help our members become more effective communicators. We are affirming, graceful, and generous with our constructive insights.

The more you practice anything the better you become at the very thing. At Toastmasters we practice the art of communication through role assignments.
Members benefit from the opportunity to share the purpose of their role to the larger group and also we get to participate as an evaluator, speaker, or Toastmaster.
Come visit us sometime at Club 210.

We honored and mastered becoming a more effective communicator through practice. We practice during the meeting in a structured format and we practice after the meeting in casual conversation.
Both encounters are marinated with an abundance of learning opportunities, insights, and inspiration.
Come and visit us sometime; you are welcome, invited and wanted. 2nd and 4th Monday at Start Up Sioux Falls at 6pm-7:30pm. It’s a good time 😊
Yesterday at our meeting Mark gave an amazing Ice Breaker Speech, Gideon has his second at bat on his presentation on style, and our guest Lon Stroschein and “South Dakota Farm Kid” won Table Topics.
