We recently took some time away from the practice to celebrate our amazing team at .falls. Over the past seven years, and especially since January, it’s been an incredible journey. I am deeply grateful for the wonderful souls who help me do what I love—saving teeth and helping people. A heartfelt thank you to Jess, Jill, Kerri, Nadya, and Kiersten for everything you do for our patients and the practice! We also had an early birthday celebration for Jill, complete with fireworks atop a brownie. Cheers to many more milestones together!

Today is a day of humble and somber reflection for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

The rifle is affixed with a bayonet and inverted, signifying that the Soldier went down fighting. The boots signify the Soldier’s last march onto the battlefield. Dog tags are imprinted with the Soldier’s name and hung from the rifle so their identity will never be forgotten. The helmet is placed atop the rifle representing what the Soldier stood for and signifying that their battle is now over. The Battlefield Cross is a sacred symbol amongst military members. Since a funeral is typically not possible during wartime, these symbols serve as a rallying point where surviving members of a unit can mourn and remember their fallen comrades. This Memorial Day, reach out to the Veterans that you know and give them a simple message: “We Remember.” We remember our country’s fallen, your brothers and sisters, and we appreciate and honor their sacrifice. , ,

Today we celebrate JILL! She is the Front Office Coordinator who subdues withering chaos and creates peaceful order. Fun fact, Jill loves carrot cake, dogs and helping us save teeth! Thank you Jill for all you’ve done for the practice and our patients. Cheers to SIX years indeed!

This is a simple, unvarnished post which is honestly our style around here. Dentistry and the specialty of Endodontics can be challenging at times. My team received this email yesterday and it was honestly a much needed burst of encouragement. This week we celebrated Dental Assistants Appreciation with lunch for our team every day this week. We also celebrated Dr. Wiseman’s Birthday! We celebrated our Christmas party last night! The team started with a surprise trip to Scheels where everyone was gifted a pair of shoes of their choice! Then we headed over to for gift bags and beverages. The night ended with an amazing dinner at and a chance to relax with lovely conversation and laughter outside the practice. We are beyond words for our team. They make it happen every single day for our referrals and shared patients! Jill and Jessica have been with us for 5 years followed by Nadya and Kerri for 4 and Kiersten just finished her 1st year on the team! Thank you Jill, Jessica, Nadya, Kerri and Kiersten for allowing us to be part of your life’s journey.

Zen doesn’t directly participate in (though she would if she had thumbs)! She does save patients from ! Recently, we’ve had several patients with varying degrees of dental related stress. They’ve all remarked how she makes an otherwise stressful dental day into a peaceful one. This trip to the sunshine state was all in the name of continuing education (CE) at the AAE Insight Track event held at the beautiful PGA resort in West Palm Beach! had a great time learning about new pain management techniques and sharing with colleagues who love as much as I do!

It’s Nadya’s birthday everybody! She’s such a trooper.. Jill is taking some well deserved vacation so Nadya is in the HOT seat up front handling phones, Ins estimates and checking patients in and out! Thank you Nadya for all you do for our patients, referring offices and team. Nadya is loyal to her sweet tooth cravings and stayed true to her perennial request of chocolate, coffee cheesecake from . This is our therapy dog, Zen. (AKA , Z, Zeebee, Zenabella, Zeber-to name a few of her many pet names). It’s uncanny how she is completely attune to someone’s anxiety/fear. She likes to get right over the patient’s heart which calms even the most dental phobic. When she does this, we put safety goggles on her just to play it extra safe . To date, this is Zen’s 200th patient she has sat with. She’s been a really great addition not only for patient care and experience but also for our team. Zen is coming up on her one-year work anniversary. What should we do for Z to celebrate the care and love she abundantly gives to our patients and team?!
