Another 14x14 deck in the books, using Trex Rocky Harbor composite. We have such amazing customers!

Yesterday we wrapped up this 2-level composite deck with a bar top. We used our STAR Railing, Trex composite boards, and a few pylon footing system.

What do you think? Could you imagine something like this in your back yard? We provide free estimates. Reach out to us for your own personal quote.

Today we also wrapped up this front deck. We used timbertech for the decking and railing and Wolf PVC for the fascia and trim. Overall, what a fun project we got to work on.

If you're interested in updating your space, give us a call.

We are a wrap with this first phase at this beautiful house and worked with multiple other companies to see it all come together.

We used our STAR Railing, and Timbertech AZEK PVC boards for decking and fascia. We also installed a bladder and gutter system to protect the joists. Eventually the client is looking to add an under decking system later this year.

All in all, what an amazing client we got the chance to work with and it was so cool to see it come together. Big shout out to everyone on our team to help bring this together.

Another project in the books. This one was a repair and reskin with cedar tone treated wood.

Originally, the customer was considering composite, but wanted to reuse the structure. I included an estimate for brown treated wood and included a few reasons why.

A) composite does often outlast the existing structure. Where as the pressure treated option with flashing on the existing joists should wear/weather at the same rate.

😎 a good portion of their deck faces the sun. Composite often heats up really bad, but wood absorbs heat better. So it's not quite as hot on pets and kids feet.

C) it's a cost effective way to buy you more time until you can build the outdoor living space of your dreams.

If you're interested in a new deck but don't know what options to choose, contact us and we'd love to talk to you.

Finished up this 28x14 Cedartone deck today. It was such a fun project to work on. I can't wait for our customers to start using it

Almost done with this 28x14 deck made from cedar tone. Tomorrow we put on the finishing touches and should be on to the next project.

Photos from DaleTree Decks & Outdoor Lighting's post 05/01/2024

We've still got a few finishing touches to add, but we absolutely love this project!

Composite deck boards: Trex toasted sand
Railing: STAR aluminum railing
Gazebo: Yardistry with a cedar post swap for added height
Privacy Screen: Hideaway Screens

We'll add some fascia as a final touch but thrilled with how this came together for our customers!

We love a good glow up on an outdoor space! This deck was upgraded to PVC decking with Wolf Silver Teak boards and fascia as well as STAR railing for a beautiful, sleek new look!

Included in this project was a stair rebuild and the addition of a bladder and gutter system to keep this space bug free and dry when the family is ready for a future upgrade to an enclosed deck.

The last project from 2023 wrapped up its main construction today. This wrap around porch is 8' deep in most of the sections, except the side yard where it's bumps out to 12' deep. Complete with a composite top drink rail and decking, a door in the floor to make room for the egress window, and picture framing deck and steps.

We're so thankful for our team this year! Some of them have moved on and some are sticking around. But we have been blessed with everyone who has worked with us. Here's to 2024!

A few more things to clean up tomorrow, otherwise here's another deck and Pergola project we've been able to complete this year.

This one is 16x18 made from cedar tone pressure treated wood.

One more to go for 2023!

Another project in the books for 2023. This one was the deck resurfacing and footing repair. We also did a little work on the stair to bring them up to speed. It was a 18x16 deck with a few extra spaces. With Trex boards and updated cedar.

Finally delivered!

Even though woodworking isn't a main part of our business anymore, craftsmanship has always been at its heart.

Here is a 5x12 conference table made for a client, just in time for Christmas. It's made from Elm for the inside main wood, walnut for the border, and Wenge for the inlays. Finished with Odies oil and waxes.

I have a few more adjustments to make for the connection joints, a little more buffing, and an access port for the phone... BUT, I would consider this a a success.

The build time (when consolidated) probably took 2 months. However, it was spread out over about 6-7 years. The wood was collected and milled from a tree that fell in 2017 (I think it was around then). Then in 2022 I started final milling and gluing into the two halves. After that I started fitting in the inlays, the border walnut, and the hardware.

Finally, this past week I finished the last few coats of oil and wax on the last half.

What a labor of love. I'm so thankful for our client (they love it) who was amazing to work with.

This was a fun project!

Most of our decks are composite now a days. This one we got to do a cedar tone preasure treated wood (which absorbs heat much better than composite, but the downside is it doesnt last quite as long).

We have one more cedar tone project this year and then the rest are composite decks.

Almost done with 2023 y’all!

With this nice fall weather, we have still been able to work on decks. Here is one of them.

This one is with Trex Havana Gold and Westbury Railing. We also did some picture framing around the perimeter of the deck and each of the steps. Overall, I really like how this one turned out.

Big big shout out to the amazing team at DaleTree for their hard work and effort they put in week after week.

Here are some evening and day time photos of the pool deck.

10/25/2023

We finally finished up this 32x38 pool deck with a continuous bartop. Other cool project highlights were the picture framing, the 2-tone coloring, a pool heater enclosure, solo lights, low-voltage lights from , composite pool filter access panel, full fascia wrap, and the two composite colors Rocky Harbor (light gray) and Clam Shell (dark gray). What an amazing and fun project!

We finished up this amazing deck project this week. This is the one that replaced the old deck that was featured on KELO earlier this year.

The main deck is 24' wide and 14' deep with a 7x7 stair landing. The second deck is 20' wide by 8' deep. Both decks have had flashing added to prolong the life of the structure and delay rot. It has Trex Toasted Sand composite and a black metal railing.

The main project took just over 2 weeks, but we had some Railing brackets that were on back order and pushed the completion out a few more weeks.

What a fun project and more importantly a much safer outdoor living space for their family to use.
