The History Club of Sioux Falls
Dedicated to the historic preservation of its clubhouse and historic archives. consulting on the location and aesthetics of the Orpheum Theatre.
Since 1879 The History Club has been involved with and supported hundreds of community service projects in Sioux Falls, including:
co-creating the first lending library. initiating the installation of the Japanese Gardens in Terrace Park and the Sioux River Greenway Trails.
Women: A Century of Change - National Geographic Exhibit History Club members are invited to a private curated tour of Women: A Century of Change on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 5:30 pm.
Upcoming events at the History Club: Gene McGowan Jazz on Wednesday, June 12th at 7:30pm. Tickets are $25 and available on Eventbrite.
Then Tuesday, June 25 we will meet at the Washington Pavillion at 5:30pm to have a curated tour of WOMEN: A Century of Change. Cost is $15, and registration is required by June 17th. Darci will set up Eventbrite for that as well.

A wonderful “Alice in Wonderland” Mother’s Day Event at the History Club yesterday! The decorations, tea, punch and food were over the top. Grateful for the club, and friendships of very talented women! A great way to celebrate!

Our annual Christmas party was a blast. The food was amazing as usual. The white elephant exchange was hilarious. (Thanks Roger/ Santa who loves to engage the crowd.) We even ventured downtown to enjoy Myrtles and Falls Park. A few of us brought out furs to keep warm! Thanks to the members who made it a huge success! Merry Christmas!
