With our last dental camp in Idudi, we've since moved to Kaberamaido District where our dedicated team of dental professionals provided free dental care to hundreds of community members.
This initiative is a significant step towards improving oral health in the region, ensuring that everyone has access to essential dental services.
Our Immersion Trips are in full swing this summer! We just wrapped up hosting a team from Sioux Falls Christian.
We are incredibly thankful for the people and organisations that partner with us to make this work in Uganda possible.
Greetings from our schools in Uganda!
This is what our work is all about: Ugandans empowering Ugandans!
It is our joy to see leaders like Charles become a blessing to their country.
Our Namayemba Bakery was recently privileged to welcome students from a nearby High School for a training on baking and valuable hands-on skills.
This experience highlights the significance of our vocational training programs which focus on creating a talented and employable workforce in Uganda.
Through AsOne’s farmer training program in partnership with Seeds of Change & FIPS-Africa Ltd our farmers have launched savings groups which are called (Savings and Credit Cooperative Organization) SACCO groups to save resources to puchase improved inputs for their farms.
We love to see individuals, families, and communities working to change the trajectory of their future through the power of agriculture!
We state discipleship to Jesus before anything else because it is the paradigm within which all our work takes place. We know that our lives are lived in response to God’s love for us and we are journeying into greater realization of his Kingdom.
We also know that God is at work redeeming our world, and we are invited to participate. Simply put, every moment of work for AsOne is known to be participating in work that is ultimately God’s: that of bringing all things to their ultimate restoration.
Since launching our dental camps, we're thrilled to see the turnout. For many of these communities it is their first ever experience receiving dental services.
In the two months of our partnership with Hope Smiles we have provided dental cleanings, extractions, and services to over 1,800 patients!
This growth reflects our commitment to prioritizing the health of the people within the communities we serve.
Take a look at a day in the life of a one, Tumusime Peruth, a student at AsOne Nursery and Primary School.
Just like many children in Idudi community, Peruth goes to school each day. Her school is a safe space where she experiences love, community and most importantly education.
With access to such a favorable learning environment, Peruth and her classmates are guaranteed a bright future because of the power of quality education in transforming lives.
Will you join us give more children like Peruth access to quality education?

Today we join with the people of Uganda to celebrate a Holiday observed since 1975 and is of great significance to Ugandan people.
It celebrates the bravery and sacrifice of 45 Christians who chose ex*****on rather than renouncing their faith. The Ugandan martyrs are hailed as heroes, and in some cases, saints.
The 45 executed Ugandans are treated as a symbol of inspiration, hope, and unity to Ugandans.
Every new classroom represents new opportunities.
For girls in school, it opens doors to boundless opportunities.
In fact, half of AsOne’s school population are girls.
Join us as we build additional classrooms to give more learners, especially the girl child, access to quality education.

Agriculture is a core component to AsOne’s holistic community development model.
As a part of it, we partner with talented rural smallholder farmers and empower them to act as advisors and community leaders.
They focus on training their fellow farmers by providing essential trainings in planting techniques, soil management, and improved farming inputs.
By empowering farmers in Uganda to lead their communities — we are putting the power of change directly into their hands.
Recent studies have shown that countries with higher literacy rates experience more significant progress in economic development.
And that’s why prioritizing education isn’t just about additional classrooms.
It’s about ensuring that there is access to quality education for rural underserved communities to help bring continued economic development to their growing populations.
By investing in education, we are equipping communities with the education they need to uplift their communities.
Join us as our Director of Community Engagement, John Paul Muvunyi, shares his inspiring journey. His story serves as a key reminder that our mission for accessible education remains ongoing.
Together, we’re committed to bridging the gap by expanding our schools and creating opportunities for all.

Do you remember our 2 new communities in Luuka and Serere?
We are excited to share that we have officially kickstarted construction to serve more people in these communities.
Thank you to everyone who has made this possible!
The success of our farmers is the success of the community. Through AsOne’s farmer training program in partnership with and we implement an innovative approach that enables all small-holder farmers in a village to quickly become food and income secure.
The support of farmers in rural communities is not just about agriculture; it’s about nurturing sustainable livelihoods, fostering economic growth, and ensuring food security for generations to come.
To the strong, the amazing, unwavering love of all the mothers that make our work possible…
Happy Mother’s Day! ♥️

Our Story
In 2015, through the power of relationships, AsOne Ministries began serving in the villages of Namayemba, Uganda and Kagina, Rwanda. AsOne has never been one person's story, but a collection of stories. Over the years, God has continued to unite people around the world with one common interest: seeing lives transformed.
Our story is one of friendships and relationships. A commitment to people over projects. And a dream of seeing communities flourish on earth as it is in Heaven. Out of our love for God and one another we have taken steps of faith, chartered new territories, and given our lives to pursuing comprehensive solutions to complex issues of poverty by allowing local communities in East Africa to tell a different story about their situation. We believe that God has been at work in these communities for a long time and our desire is to partner with Him in His plan to restore all things.
This story is a about learning what it means to be human again. It is about giving up our lives to see the most vulnerable lifted up. We have seen the ways restored identity and vocation can lead to transformation. We're committed to a world where to most vulnerable are given a better future.
