Our Story

Paint! Drink! Enjoy! Come explore the artist in you while learning more about Sitka’s unique artist community. At Sitka’s Wild Arts Studios, everyone is an artist. The fine arts have been woven in to Sitka’s culture since the early 1800s. In this three-hour class, your instructor will walk you through creating your very own version of a beautiful Alaska-themed painting step by step. There’s no need for any previous artistic experience to participate in this lesson. As you paint, enjoy the company of your friends, family, and fellow cruisers in a super-relaxed, no pressure environment. This event is a private painting party and guest are welcome to purchase their own bottle of wine at the neighboring local liquor store. Enjoy a glass (or two) of your favorite wine , relax, and be creative while making your own beautiful painting. Locally crafted beers are also available at the neighboring liquor store. The Wild Arts Studio includes a working glass studio, which you will be invited to view. Take your painting home with you or let the staff at the Wild Arts Studio deliver it to the ship.

Notes:

Minimum age is 21 years. Shipping and framing are also available at an additional cost. snacks are provided for guest drinking wine.
