Found the orangest tree in Evanston to match the super soft Orange and Pink Abstract Sweater.

We’ve been carrying London-based brand Sister Jane for almost four years. They always have exquisite fabric and buttons and very unique styles. Meredith is modeling three dresses we currently have in store and on our website. Two sequin numbers that are great for special occasions and the heart dress which features a removable collar and belt that can also be worn two different ways (swipe to see the options). The heart dress has heavier fabric and lining, making it perfect for this time of year. We will be getting in many new holiday dress styles in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

A pop art inspired top with an important message: Make sure your voice is heard this election season.

On my to do list for tomorrow - drop off my mail-in ballot at the Evanston Civic Center (2100 Ridge) before heading to the store. If you are going to mail your ballot make sure it’s postmarked by Election Day!!

The Satin Lips Print Shirt has a comfy, oversized cut (I am wearing a medium, size down if you want a more traditional fit). It’s the perfect pick for an election party (pair it with something blue) or for everyday wear. I’ll link it in stories.

We love that mesh and metallics are having a moment. This look highlights two of my favorite brands from the shop: Afrm & Amy Lynn.

The top has a sporty vibe with thumb holes (they are easy to conceal if they aren’t your thing). I wore a Yitty bodysuit under it for a more opaque look through my core, but it looks good with a variety of under things. It also works well with wide-leg sweatpants (see last video in this post) for a sportier look. The Lupe pant has a soft lining, flattering cut and a matte silver finish. The inseam is a bit longer, so they require heels or hemming if you are under 5’10” (we have a variety of platform/heeled boots and clogs that would pair well with them). I’ll link both items in stories.

As a longtime Evanston resident, I had known that was a uniquely wonderful community. It’s great to now be part of that magic.

Join us tomorrow (Wednesday, 10/23) from 5-8pm for sips, light bites, raffle prizes and complimentary gift bags filled with goodies with your purchase at our new location, 2014 Central St, Evanston, IL 60201. 10% of the proceeds from the party will be donated to Northwestern’s Special Olympics Program benefiting Suburban Cook County. We can’t wait to celebrate with you! 🥳🥳🥳

The beneficiary for our Grand Opening Party 5-8pm (10/23/24) & Giving Tuesday (12/3/24) is Northwestern University’s Special Olympic’s program, serving Suburban Cook County. It’s the largest & oldest student run Special Olympics program in the country and it’s near and dear to my heart. I served as Executive Co-Chair during my Junior & Senior years at Northwestern and also spent 10-20 hours a week coaching at sites throughout Evanston and at New Trier. NUSO’ mission is to integrate individuals with developmental disabilities into our community through programming and educational events that foster inclusivity and raise awareness. Throughout the year, NUSO mobilizes hundreds of student volunteers to assist in coaching and providing programming to SO athletes at sites throughout Evanston (YMCA, YWCA, Robert Crown, etc) and beyond in partnership with Evanston Special Recreation and other local organizations. They also fund and organize an area state-qualifying track and field meet in collaboration with Special Olympics Illinois.

Local gem! 💗 restocked her candy colored necklaces (and more!) this morning. My heart is happy knowing that you love this local brand as much as we do! These necklaces are a great gift option.

I treated myself to a Bella Colletta necklace today. It was hard to choose because I love so many of her pieces. Hello there! We have been working hard behind the scenes to open our new space at 2014 Central Street, Evanston, IL. We didn’t make our end of July opening goal, but we should be open very soon. Alicia Mohr is coming to Central Street in Evanston in July 2024! We will be located near Paper Source & Foodstuffs and many other awesome small businesses and local restaurants.

Thank you all for your patience and sweet calls and texts. I suffered a severe ankle injury a few months ago and it has definitely delayed the move significantly. We never intended for this relocation to take more than a couple of months, but we have been rolling with the punches and we are very excited to reopen our brick and mortar shop in July.

When it’s still sweater season, but you are manifesting warm weather so you are looking for sweaters that are giving spring.

It’s that strange time of year where you have to actually check the weather before leaving the house because it could be 30 or it could be 70. Either way, these spring colored sweaters are great to have around for extra warmth.

It’s International Happiness Day so I’m posting a few things that make me happy: Pillows, puppies and colorful home decor!

These high quality pom pom pillows are available on our website. They are a bit pricier than the other pillows we carry, but they are incredibly durable. They have been subject to vigorous Pomeranian abuse (our dog digs and sleeps on them all day long) for over two years. Not a single pom pom has detached and the fabric and embroidery has not snagged even with the constant paw scraping. They have held their shape as well. I cannot say enough good things about these pillows!
