Well, here is my answer.

I love what I do because of these young men and women to my left and right. Every single one of them have changed me as a person, a soldier and a NCO in different ways. They may all have their own stories but they are all apart of my story. They remind me daily to be selfless, courageous and to always have pride. Without them, I wouldn’t be SGT McCabe. So thank you for being apart of why I love what I do.

I am so excited to welcome the newest member of the Louisiana Army National Guard family! Today PVT Oliver Sarjeant made a decision that only the brave will make. After he graduates from Slidell High School in May, he will be attending BCT and 92Y AIT. Then he will be attending LA Tech in the winter, TUITION FREE. I couldn’t be more proud of you PVT Sarjeant. 🤩
